There are several reasons for this, first, one it is a National level institute so admitting into this will obviously give you an elevated feeling of pleasure and pride to your parents. Another reason being that I can become a day scholar (while I regretted this decision, I miss my hostel life)and I would prefer to get a college in your city as well. due to this, I do not have to handle my domestic work, need not worry about money, I used to go for tennis practice after college and joined a nearby coaching for gate preparation. And at the top, my family is quite sure of my safety and studies.

As usual, it's very primitive. I personally feel urgent need of updating in the especially for the courses we have to work .like for first-year I have been taught over all the engineering basics for different branches including basic mech, basic civil and all and i have noticed that many things are not updated in the books as well as the prescribed course .to score well you have to study like a nerd for all those subject which are not very interesting and hardly have any practical use.

Yes, companies start visiting the campus as soon as the third year starts for the internship. this year the opener was Bajaj for mechanical hiring overall 14 students wherein 12 have got job offers and 2 got internship in bajaj offering 35k per month for interns .then for cse there was Goldman Sachs offering a student 75k per month .it can be said that companies visiting campus for jobs also provide internships for the third year on a good scale where a student can grab it with possessing skills, technical knowledge and must have done some projects in previous years .

placements are satisfactory .there are some companies who offer for 35 lacs per annum like Microsoft but hire only 3-5 people based on coding or managing skills, on average a student with decent pointer like 7 or above have chances to get placed above 6 lacs per annum .even I have noticed there are many companies visiting campus with different packages and criteria ,so accordingly one can go for his demands. I mean you can choose here your desired company. And just make sure you don't have any backlogs and maintain pointer more than 7.5.

let start from july as the first year arrives in the campus their is arrangement of freshers party by the senior well their is 6-7 freshers party in all for each branch .then after the end of mini and mids their is turn for technosearch ,a three day event involving many interesting competitionsin day time and pronights after these exhaustion.then there are small events like Ek bharat shresth Bharat ,Nrityam,sports actvities called Manitoba lined up untill Maffick being the largest cultural fest of central india has been succesful in fulfilling everyones desires by organising fashion show ,maffick riders ,Swarangan solo singing ,panach ,body rock -solo and duet dance .

It depends upon the background and family income .for reserved categories (sc, st)and Ph category its almost free, for general category there is exemption of 1/3rd of total tuition fee if your family income lies between 1-5 lacs people whose family income is less than 1lacs there fees is almost 0 extra they have to pay for caution money and some transportation and internet fees. For hostel fee is around 46000 and mess is extra with 5000 rupees.

yes, many students get enrolled by state scholarships .even I have availed one of state scholarship for my graduation. there are plenty of scholarships for students but one must fit in the criteria .loan can be easily availed in our college through the sbi situated on our college campus.

campus life is extravagant and I am really grateful that i have got a chance to meet such people who came from different parts of country and posses different character and minds help me in cherishing myself and i solely loves to spend time with them doing everything except studying .gender ratio is too low for mechanical and neutral for all other branches in btech. even there is a small decrements in M.tech and Phd .after these four years i bet you will get more experience than any other college graduate .the one that you will surely learn is the power of unity .

the recently build hostel is H10 and is well furnished and given to the first year .as you shift to the second year you will see H10 as heaven as you will be allocated either H5 or H6 where you have to run for water lan, network issues and the conditions of room is very unhygienic, and size itself is too small to accommodate even one person and his belongings.

Yes they are very helpful senior provides us with the study material and tips for scoring good pointer .Apart from studies they tell us about the recent college functions and recent news that is private and soon to e implemented .further senior are very helpful inproviding projects , internships and placement.Alumni takes some time from there busy schedule to visit and guide us about the work they have been doing .and about the present scenario of placements and other exam related queries .

Marking is done from 100 distributed as 60 for end sem 10-assignment 10mini test and 20 for midterms .although your overall pointer for any subject will be marked from topper marks in that subject and not from 100, I mean its relative marking. like if a person get 95 out of 100 and you get 75 so your pointer will be 75/95 and not 75/100.

First of all admission into an NIT is through jee mains and DASA(direct admission for abroad students this option is for NRIs).jee mains conduct two exams paper 1 and paper 2 ,paper 1 is meant for admission in B.E ,B.Tech courses, while through paper 2 you get admission for B.Arch.In this this process candidate must attain 75% in his respective 12th board and 65% for reserved categories .As i have qualified for jee mains then i can apply for central joSaa counselling that will allot students to colleges corresponding to ranks obtained in this jee mains paper 1 .after that i hav e to fill the priorities of colleges in josaa counselling .after the priorities filling is done we have to wait for two mock counselling in which i had been alloted NIT -bhopal .here i have chance to edit my priority list of colleges .after this occur the the first round of counselling where i have to report to the nearest NIT to choose an option from freeze,slide and float .ihave chosen float upto last round and finally got nit bhopal mechancial .Here freeze means that you want to take the admission in the particular college alloted to you.therefore freeze the seat.slide means you opt that college and if there are chances then your branch can be upgraded.float will allow you to be open and you can get colleges filled in priority of that list .after i had freeze my seat there is 5 days to take admission or until the next round of josaa,ifrst process is document verification where i have to submit all the documents as prescribed by josaa,then depositing fees through sbi collect or sbi challan and finally hostle allotement .Note that jee mains is now a basis for admission in various colleges including CFTIs(centrally funded technical institutes ) whose seats can be alloted by josaa itself.Other private colleges call upon their own counselling and put the jee mains rank as their basis for seats.

In any govt institute, you will notice the staff is as much old as the institute itself the same is in manit. Many professors are having service in manit from last 20-25 years .well I can say that there is a mixture of professors some for providing only knowledge and good teaching through better practical examples. Then those who do nothing but blackmails over attendance ,give plethora of assignments and have no idea what they are teaching even its hard to understand there writing as well. Overall the faculty is not what you may expect for an NIT.
