Course Curriculum Overview

Civil engineering is a good course to opt. There are many opportunities in this field. Also we can prepare in other field along with this course. Civil engineering make you ready for feild and office work both.

Class Size: 110Course Fees: INR 138552 per year

Internships Opportunities

Intership opportunities are improving day by day. Microsoft and Google also came amd recruit many students. Core and tech both type of companies came and recruiting students. There is chance for more improvement still.

Placement Experience

Campus placement is below average is compared to other Nit and IIT. There is lot of scope of improvement in placement. Like in civil highest package is 14 lps and average is 6 lps. I planned to clear gate 2025 in my final year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is different based on reservation. As fees are paid in semester wise manner. Also college covers no. Of scholarships . State scholarship also there , around 1 lacks . And starting from 6-7 thousand.

Campus Life

Campus life is not so good. As there are types of restrictions for specially girls. Club and society are active in college, activities are organised on general basis . There is need to get more social activities for students

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility are moderate, food quality is not up to mark. But infrastructure is good of hostel. Various committees are formed like , mess , sanitation, sports , etc. Meal quality is not good overall and as per meal quality prices of mess fees is also seems high.

Hostel Fee: INR 18000 per year

Admission

Admission process was good . As a fresher it's hard to grab information of all colleges placement at same time. During counseling process student need to be focus and clear about its goal. Choosing a college is important part of career.

Placement are very good the average placement package is 350000 and Mostly every big indian IT company hires fromhere tcs, infosys, cognizant etc 70% of students get placed from my batch and my plan is doing a job in IT i got placed from this college itself

The absolute truth about SIRT

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students will be getting placement notification, there is an app called pod AI to monitor your placement companies and how much you applied, and your eligibility for company, if you are from electrical branch you will recieve polycab , EXL , a1 fence , solar square . There was about 10 companies visited but absolutely 0 opportunity in IT companies if you are from electrical branch. Average branch package is 2.4 lacks per annum About 50% of students got placed My plans after degree is to go for off campus opportunity

Placement Experience:

Campus Pl start from the 7th semester with good companies visiting for core branches popular recruiters are tafe eichers, CG power, Disa. Cognizant and Infosys for the IT roles also. The average package is up to the 6 LPA. After completing my degree I am planning To join a good company of the mechanical branch which helps me in building my career in the core engineering field.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum followed by the college is slightly old in comparision to iits and nits but it is better than most of the remaining colleges. But the curriculum could be improved.The curriculum is based on more theoretical approach and less practical approach for some branches.The teaching methodology is good . Teachers use smart boards if they need. The frequency of the exams and msts are good but they also include demo which makes it hectic.

OCT Bhopal is outstanding!!

Placement Experience:

Highesht package so far has been of 34 lakhs per annum and average though is 6 LPA. This average is considering all departments as for pur department it is of 10 LPA. Wipro, Amazon, Tisco and Mindtree are some companies out of lets say 50 odd which shows up every year. My plan is to do an MBA program and i am preparing for CAT too.

I do not have the detailed knowledge about placements of our college but i guess 900+ companies visits yearly in our college and almost every student gets placed. Big companies and MNCs also comes in our college to hire. 90%+ students get placed. I will going to have a job after getting the degree and will not go for higher studies.
