Course Curriculum Overview
This is a PGDM COURSE and it follows industry 4.0 rules and regulations. I was genuinely interested in taking marketing and I got that. The curriculam is related to latest trends in industry. The classrooms are interactive. Case studies are discussed regularly so that students have the business accumen. There are always scope of improvement in the core curriculam. There are lack of inhouse faculty in IT domain. Most of the faculties are guest faculties in that domain. Exams are divided into three trimesters and there is a division of internal and external marks.
Internships Opportunities
Various companies come for internship opportunities in the college and the internship opportunity is in month of may and june. Some comapnies provide stipend. Marsh General Insurance provided the highest internship stipend. Majorly marketing companies come for internship with sales and business development intern role. Some companies prefer to give PPO to top notch students.
Placement Experience
Placement was actually good fr the 2022 passout batch. It was 100 percent placement in that year, In the next year of the 2024 batch, the placement got a little bit declination and students of insurance and marketing got placed earlier. the average package is 10 lakhs and the highest package was offered by Blackrock to the finance students. More than 80 comapnies visited for the final placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
the flagship course cost the highest fees of 17 lakhs only. The college has tie up with bank of baroda, hdfc credila, sbi bank etc for education loan, there must be a hike of 1 lakh in 2024 in admission. this is a residential program so the hostel fees are attached alongwith that money. there is no option for non veg food items in the campus cafeteria or mess. scholarships are provided to students who has more than 90 percentile in CAT. Campus has a good placement process and the marketing and insurance domain is very good for placement. Most of the marketing roles are of sales. Some IT comapnies like Infosys, Tata Technologies, Genpact and Accenture come for campus placement.
Campus Life
The campus life is little bit strict than other colleges of Greater Noida. Boys must enter the hostel by 7:30 PM and in the winter the time is reduced to 5:30 PM. Girls have more restriction from boys. The boys hostel is outside of the campus and regular bus services are provided to reach to the college. Many technical festivals as well as alumni meet and students fest are done but in a strict way. There are many clubs and Conduits. I am a member of media conduit of the college and the conduits are responsible to organise various events in the college. The calsses have projector screen or smart boards. For sports, college students participate in various other college sports event but they get a very little support from the student welfare. Student have a dedicated lms portal for education.
Hostel Facilities
This is a complete residential program and there are dedicated hostels for the students. Boys hostel is about 2km far from the main campus and regular bus service is provided to reach to the college. Girls have their hostels in the campus. There is a strict rules and regulation in entry and exit from the campus. Meal quality is mostly average, The students have only veg items in the mess and canteen.
Admission
The admission process is done online. There is an interview round. I got selected by my CMAT score. The application form cost was 2000 rupees. The interview took place in zoom and I did not have any reservation benefits. They accept CAT, CMAT, GMAT and MAT score. Not sure about the MAT score though. But if a person gets more than 90 percentile in CMAT or more than 80 percentile in CAT then they can get the flagship course. They offer four domains in DM. Those are Marketing, Finance, Operations and HR. The isnsurance cours is better here as many comapnies like Digit, Magma HDI come to hire students of insurance.
Interview Experience
Only interview is done for admission. No process of GD or online test has been taken. The Interview consists of domain knowledge and mostly on general knowledge. There is in general no direct admission process but there are some NRI seats by which students can get the admission. Preparation for the interview round is very easy. Always be aware of the current facts adn trends in the economy and the market.
