Likes

Hostel rooms sports facilities and hostel mess
Faculties will interactive with students very good and the culture was good
Environment in college with seniors are very good we can enjoy with them

Dislikes

Placements of core subjects was not good
The maximum placed around the hostel and academic building was with more grass and it was not good
The outing process was not good and it was allowed only for 1day to go out

Course Curriculum Overview

My course was a civil engineering and it was a bit easily compared to other branches and I suggest that teaching should be some practical in such a way that they can take to construction site and explain to understand better. I rate 9/10.

Class Size: 85Course Fees: INR 115000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Per semester for general categories we have to pay 1,16,000.for sc/st 30,000. Scholarships are provided like merit scholarships and for economically backward students like income less that 3lakhs will get full fee remebiresement.

We have three parts of clubs which are sports cultural and technical clubs and in each club we have different type of clubs for sports volleyball football cricket basketball batminton....for cultural clixs cinewave dgang and soon...

Hostel Facilities

In iit bhubaneswar the hostel facilities are very good compared to all other iits ad it us single accommodation and newly constructed hostels and very hood washrooms good wifi connection and ethernet cables are provided for every room and it is very good

Hostel Fee: INR 20000 per year

Admission

Admission process is good.Eligibility is Jee advanced.the application process is we have to upload all the documents in josaa website and now a days it is like a offline verification. Fee procedure was a bit tough job I faced difficult and I didn't liked it.

Placements are definitely there for coaching centres in my branch. Many big and reputed coaching institutions like akash, byjus etc came for recruitment. More R & D comapnis can be included. the nterview process and the packages were decent for the role offered.

The technical background and future influenced me to choose this course. The preparation for real-world applications or further academic pursuits are average. Theres no fair improvement needed in the course curriculum and teaching methods. The frequency of the exams are 2 sem exams and 4 quiz in class exams. My college experience

I applied for geophysics and mining in ISM Dhanbad. But I filled my current college and branch above them. Also these branches are not very popular among students but as I didn't scored very well in my JEE advance examination, I had very few choices. To get into an IIT you first need to clear JEE mains cutoff and then clear JEE advance.
