Students politics , in every college there is student politics happened because of that everything get disturbed in some amount

I choose this course in this college because I like architecture and main means this college is on and only autonomous college in Maharashtra Also the name of college affects after passing out from College College faculty is good at teaching and other things.

Fees and Financial Aid

Course is totally affordable and worth for money to tution fees is decent and affordable as compare to other college also the government provides scholarship if you are in category . It is very beneficial for students who has not that much money to spend

Campus Life

Campus life is normal and okay to live and also college festivals teaches you very things also cultural programs held in college there are so many clubs. Specifically for architecture there is sketching club , photography club. Architecture department also have different programs just for architecture students aslo department sports and all only for architecture

Admission

For architecture you have to give nata and jeepaper 2 exam and score decently if you are from open category you have to score more marks in nata and jee as well as in boards exam -Exams are not that difficult to qualify just need to answer questions accurately -if your score is good you can get easily admission in Maharashtra Or anywhere with the admission process body

Likes

The seminars conducted by the college are very insightful
Facilities are all very helpful and supporting. They make me feel like maybe it's not that bad being away from home
The amphitheater of our college is a very cozy addition. It's a place that brings all of us together

Dislikes

College being at the very end of the campus, it requires us to walk a huge span everyday. It's especially tiresome for people who do a daily commute.
No canteen or any stationary shops nearby to come in help during needful times
No leaves on government holidays and compulsory attendance on days most of us can't make it

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements during their 9th semester i.e 4th year of our 5year degree. Hafeez contractor, sanjay puri architects, CP kukreja architects, etc are the companies visited 75% of students are placed every year is what I've heard from my seniors tho I'm still not sure since being in ny first year I've not reached there yet My plan after getting the degree is to join a firm and after getting ample experience i plan to establish my own firmm. Hopefully i achieve that. I do have faith????

Infrastructure of college is very good .
Teaching quality is good in all subjects
Faculties are very supportive and co operative

Dislikes

To much security in college campus.
75% attendance is compulsory and national holidays are not considered
Campus is so big to walk around without bike

Course Curriculum Overview:

Teaching for architecture is for 5 years divided into 10 semester. There is very deep knowledge given in this 5 year Technical and hands on experience is given to students so that they will be good future architect. I think that we should shift more to softwares rather than sheets. Exams are after every 5 months so thats easy to prepare and learn.

Teaching and support to students from faculty

Dislikes

This college is not having any campus surrounding
The only canteen in this college having overpriced dishes

Remarks:

College is an institution for learning and yes it does pretty well in those terms. Faculties can get a little edgey if you are not on their good books. Submissions are expected on time irrespective if there is quality work or not.you get marked pretty well if you stay interactive and regular to college. You can manage to get around 60% marks by just attanding lectures and trying to get the submission on time. If you put your self in the submission getting an 80% wont be difficult.

Remarks:

The college infrastructure faculty and the studies are quite appreciable all that depends in on the student how they take it if somebody choosing a good pocket friendly college then I would Definetly suggest this college as now in pune.

Designing dreams at DYPCET

Admission process was pretty easy, once you clear nata you have to apply and give preference to three colleges. This college was my first Preference and i got it after the cut off list was declared. Other preferences were dy patil akurdi, but i chose kolhapur one because of the serene and calm city. There is a cutoff for the admission eligibility last time it was 137 ( i had 145) which is 50 percent of your nata and 50 percent cbse 12th marks combined.
