Course Curriculum Overview
The course is good, as I wanted to pursue my PGDM in Marketing, and It provides us with all the neccessary subjects in order to get a hold onto that specific domain. It's a trimester based course so we have a total of 6 trimesters and 6 exams as well.
Internships Opportunities
The companies which comte to campus are Crisil, Hdfc bank, Kpmg, Cvent and many more. And the average stipend offeredd is around 15000. We are also given a 15 day Short Term Project window as well wherein we have to make a report too.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for placements after the third trimester. Last year the no of offers made by the companies were more than 400. Bimtech has 100% placements. The average package is 11 lakhs whereas the highest package was 32 lakhs.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for admission in BIMTECH is 17 lakhs, where 13 lakhs is for the academics and 4 lakhs is for hostel and mess, as It is a completely residential program. As I scored good in CAT, I got a scholarship of 4 lakhs. And the batch toppers also get a scholarship of 50000 Rs.
Campus Life
Bimmtech has many student run clubs and conduits such as for marketing, operation, finance and conduits such as food, cultural. It also has a football ground, a volleyball ground and for badminton and basketball as well.
Hostel Facilities
The facilities provided to us in hostel are basic table and chair, air conditioner, room heaters in winters. There is no specific registeration process for hostels as it is included with the normal admissions. If I rented a room it would have been a bit expensive for me.
Admission
My admission experience at BIMTECH was pretty good. The cutoff for BIMTECH for CAT is 70 percentile and I socred 92, so it was pretty easy for me to get admission in BIMTECH. We can find the applicatiom form on the official website of BIMTECH, and the fees for filling the form is 2000 Rs. The admission processs can be improved by adding a GD round as well.
Interview Experience
There were no GD, all we had was an interview and the questions asked were based on current affairs and management news. I perpared for these rounds by reading various newspapers and other criteria for admission were CAT percentile and workex.
