The campus placement drive starts from 6th Semester onwards. Various companies such as Fino,ICICI Bank,Western Digital,Om Logistics,Infosys,TechMahindra,Texas Instruments etc. The highest package offered is 21 lakh(2022-23) and the average package is 4-5 lakh. 75% students are getting placed.

One of the most fabulous and wonderful fest of NIST is "SANKALP" which generally occurs in the month of March. Various newly edition books of all the branches are available in the library including management ,Bsc and Msc . The classroom are equipped with smart boards for the better vertualisation of the students. College promotes various sports including cricket,basketball,kabaddi,khokho etc .

The room consists of 3/4 beds as well as 3/4 shelf for the students including the switch board for every bed. It also gives the facility of unlimited WiFi and 24*7 continuous water supply. Maximum time Meal quality is nice but as you know the quality of food provided especially in Southern side is liked only by South Indian people only and North Indian do not like the taste. Registration is done at admission time only and in such a price the condition of hostel is nice .One can afford the hostel easily. The room or a PG would be almost 20 km from the campus which would be difficult for the students

The course is eligible for all the students who have apperared for the Joint Entrance Exam(JEE) which is conducted by National Testing Agency(NTA), India . Admission to a particular branch selected by the student depends upon the rank he/she has secured . Application form can be found online on nist.edu website or offline in NIST college. There are basically 8 semester in the B tech programs and the semester repeats itself after every 4 to 5 months.The questions in the semester are challenging but not tough.
