Likes

Good peers - The students are IITians here so its obvious.
Coding culture - Most of the students are coders here.
Good Campus and near to city so you can enjoy city life

Dislikes

Infrastructure is still the old one , the departments and the hostels are very old.
Traffic - Its an open campus so the traffic because of outsider is very high here
Security - Because of open campus , there is always a risk

Course Curriculum Overview

Actually I just wanted to get admission in IIT and didn't know much about the course till admission. But after admission I came to know that the course is pretty good placement wise. And it also have a good scope in Foreign as the semiconductors are one of the most important things nowadays. Faculty came through the standard procedure and are really knowledged and intelligent. There are mid-term and end term in every semester and are easy to pass.

Class Size: 88Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Oncampus internships are quite hard and for sde role, you should be good at dsa and problem solving . Amazon , Flipkart , Media.Net etc offers intern role . Off campus interns are easy to get because of IITian tag.

Placement Experience

Students of Btech in seventh semester are eligible for placement and for IDD it is 9th semester. Cant remember exact figure but due to recession about 1000+ offers received. Highest package was 1 cr + for SDE After degree I will go for job or will contribute in my father' business.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution fee of IITs is 1 lakh per semester , and usually aren't hiked. The cost of education per semester is about tution fee 1 lakh per semester + hostel fee 6300 per semester + 15000 mess advance per semester so the total is roughly 121300+ Rs per semester but this amound significantly reduces if your family income is lower than 5 lakh per annum. Various scholarships are also provided. If you became TA teaching assistant you will get stipend for that.

Campus Life

Technex is the technical festival and Kashiyatra is the cultural fest. We can access the library easily most books are present and you can request books as well just got an application signed by any professor. Most types of sports are present here. There are various clubs under different councils like SNTC, Sports , FMC. Campus life is very good as we are sharing a campus with BHU

Hostel Facilities

Usually you get a chair a table and a bed for every person in room. The meal are good quality in old hostel having Maharaj system and menu is very good you get different types of meal. Registration is very easy , hostels are alloted by the institute , for registration you have to just submit hostel fee receipt mess fee receipt and passbook photocopy . Hostels are very affordable and food is really good at that price

Placement Experience:

Form the beginning of very first year students are eligible for the campus placements. TCS, cognizant, wipro, are the some companies visited here. Highest package is 44 lpa in amazon which is off campus for software role. Placements % is quite medium if you are serious about skill then you will be get a path here to go ahead. Arround 60 to 70 is the placement % My plans after getting degree is to get a job.

GLA University Mathura is Great!

Placement Experience:

Average package at GLA University may range between 5-7 lakhs but one student has managed to get placements of 55 lakhs and that is still the record placement from GLA University campus Mathura. Around 70-75% students are placed every year but I will be preparing for GATE as my ambition are to be atleast post graduate if not a PHD.

Good for learning and Skill development

Placement Experience:

Mostly te 6th sem (3rd year) got eligible for campus placement. Amazon, Accenture, AVL India, Atlan and many others (about 900+) visited and made 4000+ offers. The ave. package is about 5.25 LPA and highest crossed 39 LPA. Above 60%+ got their placement and the persentage of students receiving multiple offer is about 32%. After degrre want to build a strong carrer and to contribute in the grouth of Bharat.

The placements are average But all the students here focus on off campus placements because the in campus placements are very average. Like you'll get a placement of ?6 lakhs or seven lakhs, depending on your CV.

Honest Opinion on IIIT ALLAHABAD

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester, many students get into the internship and many gets further preplacement through it. The companies visted are google, atlassian, flipkart, qualcomm, samsung, phone pe etc. Highest package is 1.21CR per annum. Average package is 30LPA 90% students got placed. Private job is the plan after getting the degree. 90% students gets placed.

Placements are quiet low at bbditm. The average package of 4lakh approx and the highest upto 15 lpa . The highest package is from the computer science branch. But number Of placements are low. But there is also number of placements in other branches.

So entry in IIT BHU was through JEE ADVANCE. I gave the examination and got an All India Rank(AIR) of 7533. Then I had Josaa counselling where I had to select colleges according to my priorities. So one of the many colleges I filled was IIT BHU(4 Year B.TECH Chemical Branch). The distribution of colleges is purely based on your ranks. Higher rankers will be prefferd above you.
