Remarks

Generally, the festival celebration conducted does not begin at a given time which creates boredom. It varies from committee to committee. Overall Happy with the college. Hope it gets autonomous status under Mumbai University.

Entrance Preview

The college has all the facilities for students. Its located centrally in Navi Mumbai. All the extracurricular activities are conducted on a regular basis. Also, all the teachers are truly professional holding Ph.D. degrees and pass outs of IITs, NITs and top colleges of India. We got full-fledged support for all the sports activities and access to DY Patil Sports Complex. Classrooms and laboratories are very neat and clean. Projectors in all classrooms and AC in 80% of classrooms make learning comfortable.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Most of the teachers make an effort for the understanding of concepts thoroughly and pays attention to almost all students equally. Clearing all the aspects of the topic is done. It makes studying more easier and reduces stress during the exam. It will also help in research due to the deep understanding of subjects.

Internships Opportunities

College Provides Internships from First Year Itself. From the Second Year its made compulsory as it is useful for placements. Every year Internships are provided for all students from all branches.

Placement Experience

5

There is a committee in RAIT known as Training and Placement Cell. It works for the training of all the students for the interviews and placements. The placement rate of the college is 95%. Many Companies recruit engineers from our college like TCS, Reliance Jio, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Microsoft, Tech Mahindra, HP, NVIDIA and many more. TCS is the major recruiter of the college and average package provided for every student is approximately 4-4.5 Lakh. The highest package offered was around 8-9 Lakh by BYJU's.

College Events

5

Student Union Council (SUC) of RAIT is most Powerful Committee. Teachers Day, Tie Day, Traditional Day, Rose Day, etc. are conducted by SUC. Festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi, Navratri are celebrated. The largest cultural festival named Horizon takes place during February which is one of the biggest college fest organized. Many events and games are organized during these 3 days of Horizon. International DJ Artists, Playback Singers, are invited for performing during these fests. Fashion shows and Dance Competition is organized at the inter-college level every year. Freshers Party and BE Farewell are also conducted by SUC.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees Structure for Open Candidate is in range of 1.1-1.2 Lakhs. For OBC it is around 55-60K. For SC it is around 12-20K. And for ST it is 4-8K. As per my opinion, its fair fees structure considering the facilities provided and sports and extracurricular activities conducted.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, Scholarship facilities are provided by the college. For students having extraordinary ideas for working on certain projects are provided with scholarships boosting the morale of students. Also, Rewards are given to toppers of all branches every year. The first rank holder is awarded by Rs.50,000. The 2nd Rank holder is awarded by Rs.25,000. 3rd Rank Holder is awarded by Rs.10,000.

Campus Life

4.5

Sex ratio in college is quite good. Its around 60% boys and 40% girls. Campus life at RAIT is good. There is a RAIT circle for hanging out with friends. Many workshops are conducted by the Technical Committee. Also, all the non-technical committees conduct many competitions, from poetry to singing to music everything is conducted. Sports Competitions to are held regularly, and students are allowed to play intercollege competitions.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel Facilities is only provided for girls that too has a limited intake. The hostel is very posh but is quite expensive charging around 3 Lakh without mess facility. Just a few steps away there is a Legends Cafe, which has a great environment. Almost all dishes can be ordered as per requirement. The Legends Cafe too is quite expensive, but it is open 24/7. Taste of food can be rated as intermediate.

Alumni/Alumna

RAIT has a strong alumni network. Every year alumni meet is conducted by the college. College keeps tracks of all the alumni. Many of the alumni are working abroad. Senior students are very helpful. They help in every single activity if needed.

Exam Structure

The timetable and exam structure are structured by keeping students state in mind. Laboratories are 3-5 times a week 2 hours each. 2 term test conducted for each subject. 2 papers a day are conducted and the gap of 2 hours is given between 2 papers. Term test ends within three days to the max. Only one day in a week is found hectic. Rest all days are balanced.

Admission

I received admission through MHT-CET Marks. I Applied for the CAP Rounds from DTE Website. In the first round itself, I was alloted the institute. I did verification through the ARC center. Admission reporting to the institute begins after the result of 3rd CAP Round. Submission of documents and confirmation of admission takes place and academic year begins.

Faculty

4

All the faculty of the college are well trained and educated. All the faculty hold a Masters or Ph.D. degree in subjects. Most of the faculties are pass outs of IITs, NITs and Top Colleges of India. They have valuable experience in teaching and can think as per students mind. So it makes studying fun.
