IIT BHU- Diversity beyond the expectations.

The course relevance is quite ok, not much impressive. The Professors are well trained and most of them hold a degree from abroad. The curriculum pressurizes the students for the 75% attendance criteria . I chose this course because there were not much options available at my rank, and another reason for joining it was that here I am having a vast field to work on in terms of reasearch & Development.Teaching methods can be improved, there is a major loophole in the teaching methods of the most of the professors. I totally understand that the students after clearing jee generally do not take interest in the classes, but the professors are also seen uninterested in teaching there courses, no doubt they are highly qualified but some of them really aren't aware how to teach . they doesn't even use mic which is kept there so that everyone in the class could atleast listen.Coming to the exams , they are held in two terms, midsemester exams 1.5 month after the start of academic and end seme.

Placements are impressive here. As much as I have seen till now there are packages in crores which inspired me to take admission here. The avg. package currently in 2023 is 31 Lpa of overall iit bhu. The highest domestic package was 1.68 Crores.

Fee structure is totally based on the basis of you annual family income , In case your annual family income is less than one lakh , your academic fees will be reduced negligible .i.e , around 6 thousand per semester, in case of family income is between 1lpa and 5 lpa your two third of the tution fees will be discounted , you will have to pay around 33k per semester, and in case your annual family income is above 5 lakhs you will have to pay 1.16 lakhs per semester. Some Scholarships are provided by the state govt. according to the state you are native of.There are also banks available at the time of admission to provide you the loan at low interest, like SBI , BOI, PBI ,etc..

I can't deny the fact that iit bhu is among the most beautiful iits. It have some much greenery and natural beauties, it also have a historic and a beautiful temple of shivji known as Vishwanath Temple.

We have to clear JEE advanced with a good rank, depending upon the categories you will be getting reservations. As an aspirant, I underwent the Joint Entrance Examination(JEE) Advanced, a challenging test evaluatiing proficiency in Maths, physics and chemistry. Although it is an iit , i was expecting some technology in involved in documentation , it is never seen here, they always demand for hardcopy and submitting the same in offline mode.
