Course Curriculum Overview
The College provides Post Graduate Diploma in Management in various domains such as marketing, finance, HR, operations and analytics. We have leadership talks, foundation talks, various competitions, and live projects through which we get insights into various aspects of the corporate world.
Internships Opportunities
There are many internship opportunities available in various domains, primarily in marketing, finance HR and operations. You can find the right fit or explore different roles offered by various brands.
Placement Experience
IMI offers a 100% placement guarantee to its students. The average package offered to the students is 10,00,000 per annum. Many renowned companies visit the campus for recruitment, including Capgemini, Infosys, HDFC Bank, IDBI Bank, Taj, Mahindra Finance, Cafe Coffee Day, Nestle, Amul, and many more.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition fee is around 13-15 Lakhs for two years. It's a residential campus so it's compulsory to stay on campus only. Also, it's compulsory to pay the mess charges as well. IMI provide good opportunities, good companies are visiting the campus for the Summer Internship as well as final placement
Campus Life
At IMI, we have a variety of events and clubs/committees that you can be a part of. Some of the major committees include Placecomm, Alumni Committee, Media and Public Relations Committee, and Branding Committee. Each club and committee organizes its own events and competitions. The sports committee is responsible for organizing sports events, while the Cultural committee is in charge of all cultural events. Being a part of these clubs and committees gives you a great opportunity to learn new things and gain valuable experience.
Hostel Facilities
We have double occupancy rooms available in two buildings. One building is a common hostel with one washroom shared between two rooms, while the other building has rooms with attached washrooms. Both AC and non-AC rooms are available, and every room has a furnished cupboard and a balcony. We are provided with daily room cleaning services and have an air-conditioned mess. The only issue is that the campus is located far away from the city, on the outskirts.
Admission
The admission process was smooth. It includes a Group Discussion round followed by a Written ability test and Personal Interview. The cutoff for CAT is 70%ile. The college also accepts other entrance exams such as XAT and CMAT. There are reservation benefits as well as scholarship too.
Interview Experience
For the Group Discussion round, I cannot recall the exact topics, but they were related to social issues and general topics, and the same goes for the written test. For personal interview, some questions were related to my educational background, while some were based on general knowledge.
