- Many students may find the infrastructure a bit old but it gives an aesthetic vibe.
- Open campus which allows anyone to enter anytime creating a lot of traffic and noise.
- Ban on coke and soft drinks. Closing of stores at 7 PM.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is vast and well detailed. It covers all the important courses required to perform better in this field. As mentioned earlier, the exams are in 2 phases and the difficulty is high but the grading is relative so it does not hamper much.
Internships Opportunities
On campus internship is hard to get. 400 students get on campus internship but rest all the students arrange to take off campus internship. So overall it's not a problem. Projects are frequent. We get 1 project in 2nd semester and other in 4th semester then in 6th. Apart from this we can do our project under any professor if interested.
Placement Experience
100% placement for all the btech and integrated dual degree students. Students becomes eligible in their second last semester. And for internship in there 4th last semester. The highest package offered in 2023-24 batch is 1.68 crores domestic and 60 lakh international. I am planning to get a job and start preparing for some competitive exams.
Fees and Financial Aid
The academic fee is 100000 for the parents with annual income between 5 to 10 lakh. 33333 for the parents with annual income 1 to 5 lakh. And 0 tution fee for annual income less than 1 lakh. Apart from this, mess academics, medical etc charges are applied with is approximately 20 thousand.
Campus Life
The Asia' s largest fest is Kashiyatra is organised here with Technex, the oldest technical college fest in Asia. Library contains a vast variety of books covering all the courses offered in the campus. Sports facility is a big attraction. We have all types of sports. There are a number of clubs(approximately 30+) and many more student bodies like student counseling services, ecell, training and placement cell.
Hostel Facilities
We have a three person shared occupancy rooms with 7 story building and 6 lifts. 2nd year students stay in this hostel. Rest hostels are not so advanced but institute is currently developing 3 new hostels for the accommodation. The quality of food provided is good at the beginning of the semester. With time we get used to it. It is compulsory for all the students to stay on campus in the hostels.
Admission
The course is obtained only by qualifying Jee Advanced. The course form and fees are all available on the institute website. As jee is offers reservation, we can avail the reservation opportunities. There are a total of 2 exams per semester. One is mid semester and the other one is end semester. Apart from these regular quizes and assignments also contains some weightage. It's perfect and there is no area of improvement.
