Remarks

The infrastructure is not so developed but work is going on to develop it. Academics are quite good and attached hospital S.R.N has very vast O.P.D that provides vast experience patient interaction to students

Entrance Preview

After qualifying for the NEET entrance exam you have to go for the counseling process. In counseling, you have to select colleges of your choice. I choose this college because it was allotted to me in the counseling process and it was in my choice because of its ranking and being close to my house.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

MBBS as the name itself signifies is a course that requires hard work and time. The course duration is of 4 and a half year with a compulsory rotatory internship of 1 years. First Proff is non-clinical and of one year in which you have 3 subjects i.e Anatomy, Physiology and Biochemistry. Second Proff is one and half year long and Para-clinical including subjects forensic Medicine, microbiology, pathology, and pharmacology. Then comes mini-proff or 3rd year which is clinical and include 3 subject ENT, Opthalmology and PSM. lastly, final Proff which is also clinical and includes surgery, medicine, pediatrics, gynecology and few other subjects. After this one year of internship starts which is compulsory. At the end of each Proff you have to take an exam which is a professional exam conducted by concerned university and have to qualify in it to go to next Proff. From 2nd Proff Hospital postings of students gets started.

Internships Opportunities

In every medical college after the completion, of course, there is a compulsory rotatory internship which is compulsory for everyone. Here in our attached hospital S.R.N Hospital, the internship is done. The general stipend is provided by UP state government and ranges from 7000-8000 per month. The internship is a very important part of MBBS as it teaches you the clinical basis of medicine and gives you vast experience

Placement Experience

4.5

In medical college, there is nothing like campus placement. After the completion of your course and internship, you can apply for the post of a medical officer under state government or even do your private clinical practice. But most people do specialization after completing their MBBS after qualifying NEET-pg for post-graduation

College Events

4

There is only one college festival named EUPHORIA which is a week-long festival full of enjoyment. It's preparation starts months ago and it includes various sports and cultural activities. Other festivals are also well celebrated in campus and hostel. Along with these fun activities, various camps such as blood-donation, organ-donation, body-donation etc are organized from time to time that provides vast experience

Fee Structure And Facilities

Being a government college the fee of this college is very feasible i.e. 30000 p.a for general students and 24000 p.a for others. In this fee mess, charges are not included and they range differently in different mess ranging from 2200 to 2500 per month.

Fees and Financial Aid

The scholarship facility is provided by the state government of UP which is allocated to students. As the fee is feasible no such loan facility is offered or needed.

Campus Life

1.5

Being a Medico your life and schedule is hectic and you get very less time for extracurricular activities. The male: female is nearly 2:1. In the college festival, various sports and cultural activities are performed except those the college has a ground which is commonly used for cricket football and other sports and a separate volleyball court and various badminton courts in the hostel.

Hostel Facilities

3

The infrastructure of the college is not so good and the same could be said about the hostel. Here hostel facilities are not too good as the bathroom are not cleaned. There is no mess from college. The mess is running by private people. In mess, the food quality can't be said to be the best but still, It's good.

Alumni/Alumna

Various alumni meetings are arranged here time to time. There is a very good interaction between seniors and juniors and seniors are always available for any kind of help.

Exam Structure

The MLNMC is affiliated to its university i.e. KGMU, Lucknow. At the end of each Proff the university conducts a professional examination which is required to clear by students to go to next Proff. The passing marks for this exam are 50%. The various internal examination is conducted from time to time to by departments for accessing the students on the internal basis

Course Curriculum Overview:

The profession I'm in is medical. The toughest of all. As from the starting I wished to be a doctor. The one who is second to a God. The one who is respected the most. The one who does the most prestigious job. As per the curriculum we have to study all 19 subjects in just 4.5 years plus we have to attend the clinical posting in hospital , which exposes us to real world. The posting time is the time given to students from second year till year last. Improvement can be done in passing the exam part which is 50% in each subject. It can be 40 % marks. Currently I've given my MBBS second year which was hectic because of the vast syllabus. We have total of 5.5 year course for an undergraduate degree. Out of which 4.5 years is about studies rest one year is internship in hospital. We have to study all 19 subjects in just 4.5 years. The mbbs course is very lengthy. Each and every subject is very vast. So we have to study maximum time. So all the very best those who aspire to be a great doctor
