Dislikes

Lecture halls are old as compared to other IITs
Presence of dogs in hostel premises. They are sometimes annoying
Some of the hostels have poor infrastructure

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is relevant to course and it helps one to excel in their field . Teaching method is good but need improvement .Exam takes place regularly and it is tough. It is not like board exam . One should work hard.

Internships Opportunities

Many companies to our college for internship. The upper branches like CSE, Electronics and electrical ,etc generally have higher intership opportunities. Many people get placed through PPOs provided with the help of intership

Placement Experience

The placement rate of our college in past years for all branches have been almost 100%. Although due to recession across the globe there is decline in placements but still our college ranks 2 among all IITs.

Fees and Financial Aid

The semester fee for general category is 116000. This includes hostel , academic and mess fees. Since I belong to EWS category I only need to pay 54000 pe semester. There are other provisions for OBC, SC,ST , family income less than 100000.

Campus Life

My overall Campus experience is decent. Although I don't participate in clubs and events. But there are several clubs like business club, sports club, film and media, social services, robotics, E cell for enteruornuship, and many more. These clubs are highly active and students can learn a lot from them and improve their knowledge and communication skills.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel rooms accomodate 3 persons per room provided with 1 table and cupboard for each student. Each hostel has its own mess and canteen which ensures students don't run out of food even in the late midnights.

Hostel Fee: INR 400 per year

Admission

To get into IIT one should clear Jee mains than jee advanced to get into it . Paper was quite tough but can be cracked with hard work and consistency.Exam is held ones in a year and on can apply through nta site

Placement Experience:

Form the beginning of very first year students are eligible for the campus placements. TCS, cognizant, wipro, are the some companies visited here. Highest package is 44 lpa in amazon which is off campus for software role. Placements % is quite medium if you are serious about skill then you will be get a path here to go ahead. Arround 60 to 70 is the placement % My plans after getting degree is to get a job.

GLA University Mathura is Great!

Placement Experience:

Average package at GLA University may range between 5-7 lakhs but one student has managed to get placements of 55 lakhs and that is still the record placement from GLA University campus Mathura. Around 70-75% students are placed every year but I will be preparing for GATE as my ambition are to be atleast post graduate if not a PHD.

Good for learning and Skill development

Placement Experience:

Mostly te 6th sem (3rd year) got eligible for campus placement. Amazon, Accenture, AVL India, Atlan and many others (about 900+) visited and made 4000+ offers. The ave. package is about 5.25 LPA and highest crossed 39 LPA. Above 60%+ got their placement and the persentage of students receiving multiple offer is about 32%. After degrre want to build a strong carrer and to contribute in the grouth of Bharat.

Honest Opinion on IIIT ALLAHABAD

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester, many students get into the internship and many gets further preplacement through it. The companies visted are google, atlassian, flipkart, qualcomm, samsung, phone pe etc. Highest package is 1.21CR per annum. Average package is 30LPA 90% students got placed. Private job is the plan after getting the degree. 90% students gets placed.

Placement Experience:

Placements are quiet low at bbditm. The average package of 4lakh approx and the highest upto 15 lpa . The highest package is from the computer science branch. But number Of placements are low. But there is also number of placements in other branches.

So entry in IIT BHU was through JEE ADVANCE. I gave the examination and got an All India Rank(AIR) of 7533. Then I had Josaa counselling where I had to select colleges according to my priorities. So one of the many colleges I filled was IIT BHU(4 Year B.TECH Chemical Branch). The distribution of colleges is purely based on your ranks. Higher rankers will be prefferd above you.
