Likes

The campus is beautiful, we have temple here too, in case we feel discouraged. Also, it's a lush green campus.
The peer environment is great here, everybody here is involved into something productive.
The samosa and chai ofcourse, LC is the heart of our campus

Dislikes

There is no AC's in the classroom. Even in hot summer days, we have to study in fan based classrooms
At times, there's a lot of pressure from the teaching faculty for just 2 credits, it creates too much stress on students
The security here is not much, though the authority is working on this issue

Electronics engineering itself is a great branch over other branches, considering it as a circuital branch, there are more opportunities for us and also the average package of electronics branch is higher compared to other branches.

Internships Opportunities

There are a lot of opportunities specially for girls. For girls, we get a chance of internship in our 2nd year as well like Google step intern and uber she++. Also, in our 3rd year, a lot of companies visit our campus.

Placement Experience

IIT BHU stands among the top colleges with the highest placement rates. Even during the recession period, it withstands it's name and fame. We had an average package of rupees 18,00,000 per annum which is a great amount.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are various scholarships available for us, infact there is a seperate section in our campus that deals with scholarships for the meritorious and deserving students. My family's total annual fees is less than 1 lakh so I get a ressesion of the tution fees.

Campus Life

There's something going on every 2nd day in IIT. Be it any cultural fest, or club meets or technical fest. The library have AC's. It would have been great, had the library been a little big as during the exam seasons, there's no space left.

Hostel Facilities

Honestly, it is average. Like we are to live in a small room, that too 3 people in one small room with only 2 almiras. Otherwise, there are lift facilities, canteen facility, that is great. The mess food is okay, not so good not so bad but average.

Hostel Fee: INR 15000 per year

Admission

I gave IIT-JEE Advanced exam and secured a rank of 7072 among 10,00,000 people and therefore got admission in IIT BHU Electronics department This exam is considered to be one of the toughest exams in India.

Placement Experience:

Form the beginning of very first year students are eligible for the campus placements. TCS, cognizant, wipro, are the some companies visited here. Highest package is 44 lpa in amazon which is off campus for software role. Placements % is quite medium if you are serious about skill then you will be get a path here to go ahead. Arround 60 to 70 is the placement % My plans after getting degree is to get a job.

GLA University Mathura is Great!

Placement Experience:

Average package at GLA University may range between 5-7 lakhs but one student has managed to get placements of 55 lakhs and that is still the record placement from GLA University campus Mathura. Around 70-75% students are placed every year but I will be preparing for GATE as my ambition are to be atleast post graduate if not a PHD.

Good for learning and Skill development

Placement Experience:

Mostly te 6th sem (3rd year) got eligible for campus placement. Amazon, Accenture, AVL India, Atlan and many others (about 900+) visited and made 4000+ offers. The ave. package is about 5.25 LPA and highest crossed 39 LPA. Above 60%+ got their placement and the persentage of students receiving multiple offer is about 32%. After degrre want to build a strong carrer and to contribute in the grouth of Bharat.

Honest Opinion on IIIT ALLAHABAD

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester, many students get into the internship and many gets further preplacement through it. The companies visted are google, atlassian, flipkart, qualcomm, samsung, phone pe etc. Highest package is 1.21CR per annum. Average package is 30LPA 90% students got placed. Private job is the plan after getting the degree. 90% students gets placed.

So entry in IIT BHU was through JEE ADVANCE. I gave the examination and got an All India Rank(AIR) of 7533. Then I had Josaa counselling where I had to select colleges according to my priorities. So one of the many colleges I filled was IIT BHU(4 Year B.TECH Chemical Branch). The distribution of colleges is purely based on your ranks. Higher rankers will be prefferd above you.
