Dislikes

Food quality and no variety in the food. Same food is served again and again
Open campus which creates a dangerous situation due to overspeeding
Mess food is generally fine but on days gets horrible.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is more or less same for every governmental institutions in India. The first year curriculum is almost ssame for all branches as there is also the system of branch changing. From second year, there are courrse specific subjects ehich are pretty good if you are diligent in learning those courses.

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 125000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for a general is 125000 per semester incuding mess and hostel fees. For fee remission there is a criteria for general if family income is less than 5LPA 1/3rd of fees is to be paid, and for less than 1LPA, SC/ST/PwD 100000 tuition fee is straight up remissioned.OBC also have same 2/3rd fee remitted.

Campus Life

Overall experience is great. There are various events of different clubs and departments along with an annual cultural fest Kashiyatra in January. Club fests include Technex,EES,Jagriti etc. Department fests include Udyam,Prastutui etc.

Admission

I took admission by qualifying JEE Advanced 2022 with AIR 2905. The application was done through Josaa counselling The application fees was 35000 which was later readjusted with the semester fees. The semester fees was 125000 for general. If the family income is less than 5 LPA you can avail fee remission too. The exam as all know is conducted once every year and the eligibility criteria is to first clear he JEE Mains cutoff. Yoou can give a maximum of 2 attempts for JEE Advanced Exam and 3 for JEE Mains. The admission process is pretty smooth at the government site and I personally faced no such problem regarding the admission process.

Placement Experience:

Form the beginning of very first year students are eligible for the campus placements. TCS, cognizant, wipro, are the some companies visited here. Highest package is 44 lpa in amazon which is off campus for software role. Placements % is quite medium if you are serious about skill then you will be get a path here to go ahead. Arround 60 to 70 is the placement % My plans after getting degree is to get a job.

GLA University Mathura is Great!

Placement Experience:

Average package at GLA University may range between 5-7 lakhs but one student has managed to get placements of 55 lakhs and that is still the record placement from GLA University campus Mathura. Around 70-75% students are placed every year but I will be preparing for GATE as my ambition are to be atleast post graduate if not a PHD.

Good for learning and Skill development

Placement Experience:

Mostly te 6th sem (3rd year) got eligible for campus placement. Amazon, Accenture, AVL India, Atlan and many others (about 900+) visited and made 4000+ offers. The ave. package is about 5.25 LPA and highest crossed 39 LPA. Above 60%+ got their placement and the persentage of students receiving multiple offer is about 32%. After degrre want to build a strong carrer and to contribute in the grouth of Bharat.

Honest Opinion on IIIT ALLAHABAD

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester, many students get into the internship and many gets further preplacement through it. The companies visted are google, atlassian, flipkart, qualcomm, samsung, phone pe etc. Highest package is 1.21CR per annum. Average package is 30LPA 90% students got placed. Private job is the plan after getting the degree. 90% students gets placed.

Placement Experience:

Placements are quiet low at bbditm. The average package of 4lakh approx and the highest upto 15 lpa . The highest package is from the computer science branch. But number Of placements are low. But there is also number of placements in other branches.

Course Curriculum Overview:

So entry in IIT BHU was through JEE ADVANCE. I gave the examination and got an All India Rank(AIR) of 7533. Then I had Josaa counselling where I had to select colleges according to my priorities. So one of the many colleges I filled was IIT BHU(4 Year B.TECH Chemical Branch). The distribution of colleges is purely based on your ranks. Higher rankers will be prefferd above you.
