Course Curriculum Overview

I am a mechanical engineering students in 2nd year. The most surprised things more than 50 percent people in our class are not actually studing for mechanical engineering . They are preparing for it jobs. Thatwhy professor is also not interested yo taking intreat and most important things whole syllabus is outdated. There is nothing change since 20 years.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 21000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Due to recession, there is very less internship opportunities on campus people are going off campy to apply for that and the companies came they applied lots of criteria and they are very selective they hire only 5-10 people atmost.

Placement Experience

Mostly companies cames here for b. Tech. Student in 7th semester and for idd student in 9th semester. Most of the student get placed in campus placement and some of them go for higher studies and those who are not places they will applied for offcampus placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees struture is based on financial conditions and categories. If you from general or obc category and your parents earning is more than 8 lpa then you have to pay 1 lakh above per semester. If you reservation student then there will be no tution fees you have to pay only for hostel mess and other extra things fees. Some scholarship are provided by government and some are by alumini as well as from ngo. I thinks there is no campus employment chances.

Campus Life

Over all life is good there is lots of club and society which are making good chaange in campus and helping students to improve there skill. Nowadays infrastructure is also improving. There is good companionship in college and overall good experience

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is for more better than other college. Here insure regular cleaning better wifi, good water supply and 24*7 electricity and mess food is very good. Overall student are not feeling they are away from home.

Hostel Fee: INR 30000 per year

Admission

For taking admission in iit. You have to give two entrance exam once is jee main which is based on 11th and 12 th syllabus. If you score good then you will qualified in jee mains and become eligible for jee advanced. The appox. 1 or 2 month later jee advanced will happened .jee adavaced have two paper 3hour each in same days and if you are qualified under 10 thousands rank then there will be possibility to take admission in iits other wise you will get nit/iiit based on jee mains score. All question are mcq instead of little bits subject that thinks I don't like it.

Form the beginning of very first year students are eligible for the campus placements. TCS, cognizant, wipro, are the some companies visited here. Highest package is 44 lpa in amazon which is off campus for software role. Placements % is quite medium if you are serious about skill then you will be get a path here to go ahead. GLA University Mathura is Great!

Placement Experience:

Average package at GLA University may range between 5-7 lakhs but one student has managed to get placements of 55 lakhs and that is still the record placement from GLA University campus Mathura. Around 70-75% students are placed every year but I will be preparing for GATE as my ambition are to be atleast post graduate if not a PHD.

Good for learning and Skill development

Placement Experience:

Mostly te 6th sem (3rd year) got eligible for campus placement. Amazon, Accenture, AVL India, Atlan and many others (about 900+) visited and made 4000+ offers. The ave. package is about 5.25 LPA and highest crossed 39 LPA. Above 60%+ got their placement and the persentage of students receiving multiple offer is about 32%. Honest Opinion on IIIT ALLAHABAD

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester, many students get into the internship and many gets further preplacement through it. The companies visted are google, atlassian, flipkart, qualcomm, samsung, phone pe etc. Highest package is 1.21CR per annum. Average package is 30LPA 90% students got placed. Private job is the plan after getting the degree. 90% students gets placed.

So entry in IIT BHU was through JEE ADVANCE. I gave the examination and got an All India Rank(AIR) of 7533. Then I had Josaa counselling where I had to select colleges according to my priorities. So one of the many colleges I filled was IIT BHU(4 Year B.TECH Chemical Branch). The distribution of colleges is purely based on your ranks. Higher rankers will be prefferd above you.
