- College atmosphere is great and you will get the student from different different part of the india which is quiet interesting
- Cultural activities and events and other activities regularly goes around which ia very attractive and keeps you active in the college
- Clubs are well managed and you will find almost every type of club a student requires and seniors are very helpful and kind in the clubs
Dislikes
- Some faculties are not very supportive and there is bit of strictness for first year student i feel which i doesn't like
- College is built in outer region of ghaziabad called muradnagar where you will not found very much accessibility and malls and others cafe which is generally around a college
- Also day scholar are not allowed inside the campus after 5pm which i feel is not good because they do not get chance to enjoy after study
Course Curriculum Overview
First year curriculum is a bit lengthy and you would feel it's like a school more than a college but also the subject you study in first year are somewhere related to 12th topics and you would find easy to learn it on the other side some will be completely new for you and you have to give time to study it and you would also think what was the point of studying chemistry and physics if you have to do coding at the end so there is no use but you have to study.
Internships Opportunities
College does not provide scholarship in campus you have to apply on your own for internship and have to fight hard if you want to get any internship. Only companies come in fourth year for the placement no companies visit for the internship purpose
Fees and Financial Aid
KIET is one of the cheapest private college of AKTU and the fees in my semester is 1,38000 in my first year which will eventually drops down to 1,19000 in second year and you can apply for government as well as private scholarship and the college is very supportive in this matter and will provide every details and help you would required to get that scholarship. Campus employment is also best if we compare to other AKTU colleges although this year 2023 the placement is not going that much good because of the recession.
Campus Life
There are various clubs and activities that goes around after the academic time you will se dancing music sports and other fascinating socities and clubs. The atmosphere here after study time is very attractive and you will feel relaxed and happy. The infrastructure is good and you can say descent the college is nit much large as it is built in 18 acres you will feel it's not much large and it is true but all the arrangements and facilities are there and very well placed you will get everything sports, gym, etc
Admission
The admission is based on two types. First is on the basis of UPTAC counseling where you have to you fill your JEE mains score according to which colleges and branches are allotted and there is another way to get into KIET which is direct admission. In every branch there are 15% seats reserved for direct admission where admission is done on the basis of your 12th percentage. The cutoff for CSE(AI&ML) branch is around 85-90 Percentile according to me and college is great. Counseling process is also not much complicated so you wouldn't have any difficulty
