One of the most dislike for this campus is small campus
For playing sports there is only one ground
Student activity centre is also very small

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum of this course is like semester 1-4: core courses cover fundamental topics, semester 5-8: specialized courses delve into areas like geotechnical engineering, transportation engineering. Student can choose elective courses based on their interests

Placement Experience

Placements at NIT Patna is good. There are so many companies are coming like core company, consulting company, trading company. 60-70% students are getting placement in on campus as well as off campus

NIT Patna fee structure is available on the website. Tution fee depends on the annual income of the parents there are some condition like if your parents income is about 1 to 5 lakhs then some percentage of the tution fee will reduce

My overall experience with campus is good but the size of the campus as compared to other NITs is very small and the club involvement is very good. Facilities and technological provisions within the classrooms are good

Hostel Facilities

Because of the small campus there are 4 boys hostel kosi,sone,baghmati and Brahmaputra and only one girls hostel, Ganga girls hostel. Mess food quality is average. Also there is rented accommodation available

Admission

Eligibility criteria for program in civil engineering at NIT Patna: if you clear the JEE mains exam with 60k to 70k rank you can easily get this course and for jee mains exam there are some eligibility criteria such that, you must have passed the 10+2 examination with physics and mathematics and should have secured a minimum 75% marks

Placement Experience:

The current scenario of placements are not quite good . But in electrical engineering it is a little good .Previously except 2-3 students all students were placed successfully from our department.One best thing about NIT-Patna's placement is that it doesn't allows companies to aquire students who offers a placement of less than 6 lakh.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students starts their internship and sitting in placement opportunities heighest package is approximately 1.5 crore and lowest packages 6 lakh. Here 60 to 70% students is most probably placed.

A short review about NIT Patna

Placement Experience:

The placement of the college is decsent comparaing to other institutes . Every nigger companies comes and recruits the students with descent packages and in some case with extraodrinary CTCs . Basically there is mass recruitment in Civil and mechanical branches . Also the IT recruiters give chances and packages to lots of eligible student irrespective their branches .

NITP COLLEGE REVIEW

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for the placement from the 3rd year onwards and till completion of 4th and last year.The students are also eligible for the interships offers from 3rd year onwards. Various companies visited in our college including GOOGLE,AMAZON,JP MORGAN,FLIPKARK,SAMSUNG,NVIDIEA,ORACLE,INFOSYSand many more and are offering 2-3 job offers per student . The highest package in our college this year is 27 lakh ctc from samsung.7 students are able grab this mighty oppurtunities and are companies are still visting for hiring. The average placement of the students are nearly Rs 6 lakh CTC. The percentage placement is nearly 100% in our college except for some braches like civil and mechanical where the placement percentage are nearly 80-85%. My plan is to go for UPSC exam after getting degree from this college.

Nit patna review from first year student.

I do councelling via jossa so there is float , slide , freeze option no rejection are possible. I choose nit patna as it is best college according to the rank the current political scenario. There is lot of good college rather than nit patna but I choose it as it in come in tier 2 college and far better than other low grade colleges.
