A great place to learn with brilliant faculties

Good part is that it's full of knowlege. Bad part is north indians are treated with little bias.

After talking to multiple people SRM was one of the college to provide both clinical and academic knowledge to it's best and also the cost of the course was reasonable in comparison with other good colleges. SRM has well equipped classrooms, laboratories & library.

It was a great learning experience. All the faculties were available anytime to resolve the doubts. During the practicals the professor will accompany us to wards to ensure that we are clear with all our learnings. Thanks to all the teachers of SRM for making me what I am today.

For master's program there is no internship needed. We did have observation during the course which included postings in different departments like pediatrics or neurology wards.

Medical colleges do not provide any job placement. We being the medicos we need to hunt it ourselves but we did get ideas from our faculties to work within Chennai however I was from MP so was not interested in working there. We have to go out and search jobs.

There were so many celebrations which were apart during the course like Christmas celebration Annual Day celebrations Pongal Onam World Occupational Therapy Day World Autism Day Intercollege competitions inclusive of mehndi, dance, drama, singing, etc.

Feasible. My college fee was 50000 per year excluding accomodation. Hostel fee was 50000 with food. No extra hidden charges were there. They will charge you extra if want to upgrade your accommodation plans. Other than this nothing was charged. Everything else was available in the campus.

I guess they have scholarship programs but I am not very sure about it. Loans can be taken by the bank if required.

Campus life was good and pretty simple. We were 5 girls and 12 boys in our class. There were a lot of other activities other than academics which were fun to be a part of. Mehndi competition, dance competition and many more. Campus had all the facilities inside which made it easy for all of us.

The hostel was good and clean. As a master student, we have accommodated in a 2 BHK flat. 2 girls per room. The first year I stayed in the college hostel and 2 and year I shifted out of the campus due to my thesis. Chennai was not so expensive in terms of accommodation.

Yes there were seniors who were connected to some of our batch mates but not with all. I really did not get any help as such.

Exams takes place once a year before which there will be prelimbs and weekly tests were also done by some of the faculties. We also used to have quaterly tests which was added in our final results as internal marks. Other than this no exams were taken.

We were asked to submit the forms and based on the merit we were suppose to receive the call. After confirmation of admission we went their for the orientation program and accomodation. Paying fees was so easy as they have their bank branch within the campus.

We had faculties specilaised in their subjects. They all were masters or PHD holders which could have been one reason of good teaching. They helped us in every aspect of learning. They will cover the topic till each student is clear with the topic. We also were privileged to have practical knowledge along with theory.
