Course Curriculum Overview

The course of IET is simply based on the curriculum provided by AKTU. Being a first year student I feel the syllabus is quite comprehensive and not relatable according to initial year. However the syllabus is quiet interesting and full of learning. Each exam we have to give a 3 hour period of time.

Class Size: 72Course Fees: INR 13500 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

Tuition fee is quiet less comparable to other colleges. Both hostel as well as tuition fee is around 1.5 lakh for a year. Also one can Avail UP post matrix scholarship which is almost complete refund of the fee.

Campus Life

Our college helds a feat every two months. The half yearly fest is ENCORE on which various students perform different activities. Sports Games of each genre are held with great supervision. Several events take place

Admission

I gave the jee entrance exam in order to qualify the cutoff of this college. Being the top college of aktu IET holds a strong position in terms of placement. Sc st gen ews obc are given a extra advantage for the cutoff.

Remarks:

The infrastructure of our college is of top quality. Facilities like classrooms, Wi-Fi, labs, etc, available in our college are good. Facilities are easily available to students. The library is too good for anyone to sit and study for long hours. Teachers in our college are very helpful, and they are always available to help us. They plan the schedule in a very effective way. Many teachers are PhD holders. They have good knowledge of their subjects, both practical and theoretical. The course curriculum is relevant, and it mainly focuses on what industry demands.

Positive :- connectivity to bus stands , railway station, various Malls are there. Good social Life. IET Lucknow: College review

The college is ranked 1 among all the 700+ colleges under AKTU. It is an autonomous institute. Also the coding culture and alumni network of IET Lucknow is far better than many of the Tier-2 colleges. The admission to this colllege takes place by UPSEE counselling based on JEE Mains rank. I don't remeber the exact cut-off but if you are general category then you can get this college with the rank under 50K for Computer Science branch....Read More
