Course Curriculum Overview :

Psychology seemed interesting to me because i believe that by studying psychology we can go into mental health field and can help people those who are suffering from mental illnesses. The curriculum is very applicable and it will help us to put into effect in real world situations.

Class Size : 30Course Fees : INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

As a psychology student( post graduate) we have been into internship in clinincs and child wellness centre etc. From the internship i was able to learn the practical side and applications of study of psychology.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The college fee as of 2023 admission is 35000 per sem for me and registration fee is 20000. For new batch it is 45000. College provides direct admission and merit admission also. Exam fees we have to pay separately

Campus Life :

As a postgraduate student we have less programs as compared to undergraduate programmes but there are common programmes like habba, onam celebration , christmas celebration etc. college also have nss and ncc.

Admission :

Eligibility of course is 50% marks in undergraduate degree. We can find the application form for applying for college in acharya institute of graduate studies bangalore website. The college is affiliated under bangalore city university.

Placement Experience:

Placements are doen after semester two. Eli Lilly,Novartis,Strands Life Sciences hire candidates. Highest packages are 10 LPA above offered by TCS. I plan to take the placements as well. Almost 95% of the people are placed. The details are put up on the IBAB website

I chose this course because it particularly focuses on the clinical side of Psychology and I was always keen on learning about psychopathology.
