Entrance Preview

In this collage chemistry research is in very good direction. The chemistry department has a very good future. Scholar of the chemistry department in mnit is very talented. Every admission is based on an entrance exam. Ph.D. admission is based on entrance exam as well as interview based.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course has a very good scientific approach. The course is based on research. Faculty of MNIT use a research way to teach the course. They give an assignment. They give the mini test. They give research papers for presentation. The lab works totally based on research.

Internships Opportunities

Yes. It is based on a scheme which under you got the internship. Normally it is 10000 INR per month. And expenses are just 6000 INR.

College Events

College celebrates many fests. There is an annual culture fest. There is an annual tech fest. There is an annual sports fest. Cultural society of the college organizes many mini-functions. They organize Dandiya night, DJ night, fashion night, holi , etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is reasonable. A good amount of fee required for admission. Every semester has its fee. They give different mode to submit your fee. They didn't provide and scholarship. Every scholarship based on yourself. You have to manage this. But the overall fee is good.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no scholarship. All scholarships which one get based on the individual. You have to get from hrs.

Campus Life

Campus life is awesome. The gender ratio is increasing very fast. Extracurricular, labs, sports, competitions such as robotics, debates etc are organized from time to time. They give the certificate for all competitions. They also give a handsome reward. Very good arrangement.

Alumni/Alumna

They are helpful. There is an association is called Jaipur MNIT alumni association. They work for students welfare and give the scholarship.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is student friendly. There are two midterm and one end term. This will follow for all semester. But practical exam only held in 1st and 2nd semester. A student gets time in a lot of amount for preparing this exam as well as a competitive exam.

Admission

First I gave iit-jam. I secured a decent rank. Then I registered myself on ccmn portal. There held a counseling base on number and rank and I got in first list Jamshedpur nit . Mnit was my first choice. In 2nd round I got MNIT. Then I came to campus for documents varification and I got admission.

An Honest Review of Academic and Campus Life

Likes

Knowledgeable and skilled professors with years of experience
The campus has very greenery vibes which is very pleasant
The class size of student are small which help in better teaching

Dislikes

No proper lab facilities for biotechnology subject
Very less teacher teach biotechnology as compared to other subjects
Fees is very high as compare to other subjects in the same university

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course structure is quite good in term of relevance. It is well structured and have all the topics covered which are required for Master’s students to know. The subjects are divided which students can choose according to them each semester.

Very enthusiastic faculty , impressive publications , some faculty are advisory members in boards liker springer publication
The exposure one gets in the college for entrepreneurial ventures as well as finance is immense , if one as an engineer wants to become a financial analyst , the steps are quite easy and set .
Zero attendance policy is very beneficial

Dislikes

Faculty can take zero attendance more into account . Though there is zero attendance policy there are surprise quizzes which get included in your grade
Living amenties are below average at the end of the day Pilani is a village and one does'nt get basic amenities like healthcare and proper food
the fees is too much for what they offer , there have been strikes but with no positive outcome

Placement Experience:

Students can sit in campus placements starting from their second last semester.Some phenomenal companies that visited placement last year was BCG , Bain n Co . , Jane Street ,Amazon , Flipkart .Also there are many companies /startups which visit for non tech roles like PM / data (Xpedia) and many more .As for the tech and core roles if you have a CG above 8 you will be sure shot placed . Highest packages go upto 2 crores for quant roles since they are highly paid for .Approximately 81 % of the students get placed , I have personally seen students with a CGPA of even 5 get placed a job of 14 Lakhs per annum .My plans after getting the degree are to work in finance .

Advanced study what actually we want in our life
Teacher are well menner and well expert of their subject
Library facility is awesome like book bank and 5 book for 14 days is free

Dislikes

Fee is higher than other colleges of jodhpur
Cricket peech not available for students
75 % Attendance is compulsory for student otherwise exam will not be taken

Placement Experience:

Many companies like ultratech, tcs, tata capital etc comes here every year but they give Placement not more than 30 students, however package is also low like 350000 per month. Highest package gives by ultratech which is 27000 per month only

The staff is very good and nice to talk with. Thery arey very supportive
The campus is very big and good enough to play any game

Campus shoud be a bit more clean and neat
Students should focus on studies not on just wandering in campus
Teachers should pay more attention towards discipline

I have just completed bsc bed integrated course and now want to complete masters so i choose this course. In which I'll complete my msc with physics subject . More practical's should be done instead of theory. our college curriculum is integrated with Rajasthan university

My experience in this college is so fantastic

Placement Experience:

Bachelor and master's students are eligible for placement. Almost 78%students got placement in B.A social science and in many courses.the highest salary package is 35 LPA and the average salary package is 15 LPA. Mostly 80% of students got placement. Many local and well-settled companies visited this college. I am preparing csir net Jrf to became a professor and I want to become a professor in this college.

Highly recommended

I had not applied for any other college. But I had choosed some other colleges like NIT allahabad, NIT Delhi and NIT kurukshetra in my jee council. But I got this college. And I think I got the best among them all. Eligibility critera was minimum 70% marks in 12th exams. Also, around 95 percentile in jee mains(for general) and 90 percentile around for sc/st. I am not aware of obc. However, this criteria change every year depending upon competition. Cut off was not given on marks, it was all about percentile, marks were out of 360. MNIT at a glance

I had applied for many universities but I am from Jaipur so finally I wanted MNIT Jaipur because it comes near me.
