College Campus. It is large & also there is a new auditorium built for college functions. There is a playground where games can be played including football cricket, volleyball & badminton.Indoor gaming provisions such as table tennis, carrom, chess
The hostel environment. Nice rooms with lights, fans & well ventilation. Water supply is 24-7 & hot water from geyser is also available. Mess system is also student friendly & based on veg or non veg meal schemes are present.
Exam system. Numerous exams every other day to assess the learning of the student.Self directed learning is also present. Along with AETCOM sessions every weekend. Lectures are presented on smart screens. Ward visits are also conducted for practical

Dislikes

The Fee structure is too high. My package for entire course goes at 54 00000/-.Currently it is 68 lakhs/-

Course:- MBBS Curriculum:-CBME The teachig method is based on class based lectures along with ward visits every week for practical application of the learning Exams are quite frequent, with PCTs(Part Completion Test) being held every week Along with a semester system

Internship stipend currently stands at Rs 18000/- Internship include learning of various practical skills to be encountered in one's practice of medical profession. Departments include Surgery, Obs-Gynae, Medicine, Orthopedics, Radiology, ENT, Ophthalmology

HONEST REVIEW OF AGARTALA GOVT MEDICAL COLLEGE

Placement Experience:

We are placed in the hospital during the internship on how good knowledge we have based on giving good treatment to the patients. The salary, in the beginning, is good and as the experience increases, we can even open our clinic or even hospital or work privately too. Placement in many renowned hospitals is quite so easy thought AGMC college and they give much money to work as a doctor. Like private Institute provide freshers 30-40k per month salary and govt are giving little bit low salary per month. But after 1year this salary increase.

Remarks:

As mentioned above, this is the kind of college you should choose with only with the thought of getting a MBBS degree. There's no provision any other way to entertain you. One can play sports in the field which is not at all maintained. Everything apart from Studies and clinics is below standards but that's what you're here for, right.

Remarks:

College is good in studying, clearing the skills in clinics as well as all other extracurricular activities. But as there is a bit less number of cases of patients come to hospital,there is less exposure to all sort of clinical conditions of patients for practicing.

I did tried for other colleges. But i didn't get the chance as my marks were not up to the mark and also, there are huge numbers of students ahead of me. The overall admission process is good cut off marks for TMC during my time was 466 last mark for general category, so there are 100 seats out of which 41 seats are for general category and rest were for sc and ST , difficulty level of neet UG in 2021 was average and high scoring too. Application forms are available in the DME website by the tripura government where candidates can apply for admission. The student has to qualify NEET. The cutoff changes every year. For ST in my time the admission ended with 150/180 marks in NEET. Had to apply in state medical council.
