I am proud to announce that IIIT sricity has a very relevant and industry ready curriculum. Curriculum is designed by IIIT hyd . Hence it removes unnecessary mathematics and general first year courses including Engineering drawing ,making it more coding focussed and interesting

Placement Experience

Placement is a very subjective thing for any institute .Being a technical institute we dont really encourage low paying companies and other startups which dont fairly compensate for the work that our bright students do. There is a minimum of 7.5 CGPA criterion

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are sadly not a part of Public private partnership IIITs .This means no scholarships from college side but the state govts often give scholarships for the underprivilleged . 1.5 lakh is tuition, 20K is hostel fee and 20K is mess fee.

Campus Life

The focus of the campus life is only on academics .There is very little to no enjoyment as the campus infastructure is below par and its often very disconcerting for the lack of avenues. It must be noted that coding culture is very good.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels were built very recently and they are good. Being an institute with less strength its easy for the management to provide facilities and it must be noted that all boys are allocated hostel on campus while girls are given facility outside the college campus

Admission

I cleared JEE mains with 97.5 percentile and got the seat through JOSAA counselling. Admission was clear and easy but transparency in average package is needed across all colleges. Firstly we have a begin with coaching .i have undergone 4 years of coaching near my house ,initially it was a lot of floccinauccihili followed by confusion and lack of clarity. Then i attended srichaitanya ational instituitions for my jee coaching and did hardwork for two complete ars.Then I went to the exam center to give the joint entrance examination attempt - the first. I was startled by the crowd and the mismanagement by the National testing agency .In conclusion i messed up the exam because of late entry and improper writing conditions.the second attempt went well and then I scored a healthy 97.5 percentile where in physics constituted of eighty three marks ,chemistry was perhaps most probably fifty five marks only.My mathematics didnt go so well so scored a measly thirty marks. thencametoIIT

The placement opportunities in the CSE department are quite good compared to other branches in the college students usually became eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester onwards while major recruitment will on 6th semester onward several reprooted it and software companies visit the campus every year around 70-80% of eligible CSE students gets placed through campus drives

I think in the government University there was less opportunity for placements because the college dod not pay money for placements to approach them. But some placements was came and give the intership for the students as per the written exam for their company.I think starting 75 percent is required for the placements.

I chose IIITS over other academic institutions, Good Faculty, Worthy Placements, Good Campus Environment, Fees which is lower than other colleges like VIT/SRm. I couldn't get into Other Top Colleges NIT Trichy- Missed Cutoff by a small margin due to category-wise seats, IIIT Hyd - Didnt apply.
