Likes

Some teachers are encouraging students to participate in different activities.
'PRAVAH' the fest which gives more opportunities to students.
This college also prepare us for the real struggle of our life.

Dislikes

The course curriculum is bit out dated ,they should be focus on the relevant curriculum.
The exam policy is not good. Semester is very short which is not sufficient to cover complete course.
Some faculty are not so interactive and only focuses on old techniques of teaching.

Course Curriculum Overview

I think the course curriculum is not so relevant. As per the demand of the market they have to change the course curriculum. They have to focus on both theory and practical. They should also have to apply the practical on real world technologies and effective use the websites like ChatGPT, Blackbox.ai and many more.

Internships Opportunities

In every year pre internship and trainings are held so that students can learn about different technology. But there is no advantage of this training because no one can learn a technology in 15 or 30 days . I suggest that they have to improve this.

Placement Experience

After 3rd year students are eligible for campus placements. There are many companies visits. Average package is 4 to 5 LPA . Many students are preparing for placements and out of these students some are preparing for higher education or competative exams. As we know this is a recession period . So , because of that most of the companies don't visit the campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fees- 49990/- There are many scholarships for students they can apply. The complete cost for education is around 1.5 lacs per year including tution, service fees and other charges. Scholarships like saksham, pragati etc are provided for students.

Campus Life

The campus life is okay. There is an annual event 'PRAVAH' which is held in March or April. It is a techno cultural event of 7 days. This event gives a lot of opportunities to the students to participate in co curricular along with technical activities. There are many clubs who organised many events and activities.

Admission

•The admissions are conducted through counselling of Rajasthan technical University. •After the JEE exams the application will open and application fees 380/- . •There is no entrance exam has to given only a counselling will be done on RTU level. •One has to fill the application form online after that they has to choose the particular college (as per their choice) .

Placement Experience:

Jecrc have average placement they show 55 lakh package on advisement and 6 lakh at average placement, but I talked with senior they say placement is not good from jecrc. But I thought have good placement in jecrc university.

Decent college for the girls

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for summer internship (after 3rd year) from start of 3rd year (5th sem) and for the placements, companies come to the college from 7th semester onwards. Companies like jo Morgan, Deloitte, Flipkart, goldman sachs , PepsiCo ,oracle,bny ,ubs , rippling etc come here for placements, some of them come for 2months and 6months internship too. Average package offered by them is 9-10 lpa , jpmc , Goldman, visa they offer till 12 lpa and it can go up for some of the companies . Most of the companies allow to sit for 6.5cgpa and above but some of them allows 7.5 and above cgpa and jpmc allows 8.5cgpa and plus as far I know till now . I am currently looking forward to work in a company and get a placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is vast and allows a student to explore all the possible options to take before deciding on one . The field of elctronics and communication engineering allows one to deal with electronics and learn all the possible tinkering with them which is a very fascinating part as all the gadgets possible today were made of them. The curriculum does satisfy this thirst by teaching about them in the class of electronics and electricals and then experimenting in the lab with them . The areas for improvement could be that if a student is interested in a specific field then should be allowed to venture that field throughly instead of sitting in every class , but that is an imrovement for the indian education system as as whole . The classes of every subject does occur frequently and and exams take place every month in a form of quiz or proper pen based exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I like computer science and I can see my future in this course. The current ratio in computer science courses is around 1:5. And we don't have technical communication teaching at present and the college is saying that they will recruit teachers as soon as possible. The student-teacher ratio in all the branches is around 1:3. All facilities are well qualified and teach well but they are not permanent and hence they may or may not be changed next year. There are two semesters in each year and an examination is conducted after each semester. The difficulty level of these exams ranges from moderate to difficult.

My experience at SKIT College

I choose this college because this college us ranked no 1 in rajasthan for technical education. This is nirf ranked and RTU affiliated college but this college is become Autonomous. No i only applied for this college so I do not get any rejections from other colleges. Admission process is In jee you need to score more than 94 percentile to secured a Computer Science branch,there is also a management quota in that 5 lakh is given to college apart from college fees to get desired branch. I am only apply for this college as my first choice of reap counselling and my favourite branch computer science and engineering . And I got it in 1st round of counselling at 91.6 percentile. This is the best college ranked no.1 so I choice it and prefer it to my one position. I don't want to go in government college of Rajasthan so I choice it.
