Likes

I liked the academics , and the college life overall here . The peer group is excellent , especially in CSE a, AI and ECE dept. Also, the gender ratio is not that bad and the hostels are amazing , except for the mess food .
Canteen food is also great and satisfies the hunger
Also the proximity to the market and all basic necessities makes it easier for students to have a comfortable stay at the campus

Dislikes

I didn't like the mess food of the Vinodini Hostel . H7 mess is good.
I also didn't like the restrictions on girl students that they are not allowed to go out of the hostel after 9 pm .
Also in the first year they should not be teaching too many subjects . The subjects should be reduced .

Course Curriculum Overview

I would rate the Computer Science course as 9.5/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness . The professors in our department have an ample knowledge of the subject and they are ready to guide the students in all possible ways . Sometimes , in the first year , it may appear as hectic . But overall , it is good .

Internships Opportunities

Companies like Amazon , Directi , De Shaw , JP morgan visit the campus for internships and the opportunities are ample . Moreover the NIT tag helps a lot while applying for even off campus internships or placements .

Placement Experience

The Placements are pretty impressive , we have an average package of 18 LPA , and the CSE average package is 22 LPA . The median package in CSE was 18 LPA in the year 2002-23 . Also great internship opportunities are provided . Even if you don't get a placement , the college degree has a great reputation as it is an NIT , you will not be in danger .

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is 81,000 per semester for B.Tech. and 42,000 as the hostel fees. Also the institute has good number of Scholarships for ST/SC category students and students having a poor financial background . The tuition fees for PwD students is 0.

Campus Life

The campus life here is great . We have cultural fest Blitzschlag ,and technical fest Sphinx , which is the largest techno management fest of Rajasthan . Also , we have ample amount of clubs ranging from every hobby .

Hostel Facilities

The hostels are well equipped with Wi-fi(in the older hostels) and LAN(in new hostels) and the cleanliness and hygiene is great here . The mess food is average and eatable , while the rooms are spacious and well ventilated and have enough space to keep your belongings .

Hostel Fee: INR 42000 per year

Admission

The admission process was as per the JoSAA Counseling and CSAB counseling . I was alloted this college on the basis of my rank and cut-off for the CSE branch . I filled this as my 8th preference and according to my rank in JEE Mains examination , I got this college . The admission process was fair and supportive .

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester the students are eligible for placement opportunities in on campus placement. The companies like vedanta,Infosys,TCS ,ATA Steel,etc.visited my college. The highest placement in my branch in previous year is about 12.5 LPA,and the average package in my branch is 6.5 LPA .approx 70-80 percent students are placed in my branch in on campus placement.

Good college, good life

Course Curriculum Overview:

Food is a vast subject and people will not stop eating, so the scope of food technology is just amazing. The college has its own faculty for different subjects. This btech course is of 4 years ie 8 semesters. Each semester has midterms and final semester exams. Last semester is for an internship. Midterms are of 20 marks, practical of 30 marks and final semester theory exams of 50 marks, so passing the exam is damn easy. Regular classes with good faculties make this course easy.

Admission:

Remarks:

The college is strict about it's attendance. You need to maintain 75% attendance. And taking about the studies there is a very studios environment in the college and the labs. The Students here not just focus on academics they also do some good extra activities.

Life at MNIT Jaipur

MNIT stood out for its national ranking, active campus life, and better research opportunities compared to the state colleges. The admission process is through JEE Main and JoSAA counselling—cutoffs for CSE are usually under 10,000 AIR, while other branches have higher cutoffs. Adventurous Journey

MNIT is among the best NITs of Northern India further it possesses a highly strong mechanical in civil departments which is regarded to be the strongest one after IIT Roorkee in Northern India to be admitted into MNIT you need to clear JEE Mains examination with a minimum 97% tile for the general category further than you need to apply for JOSAA and C-SAB consuelling to admit into MNIT. I have also taken admission in NIT Allahabad mechanical engineering but I wasn't able to get it since that closed 1000 above my rank, it is mentioned that they have a very good mechanical department as well. MNIT Jaipur also had had a great infrastructure to look out and also give frequent industrial visits to enhance practical knowledge....Read More

I applied for this based on nirf rankings and actually I was wishing to get this college, I was trying for nit Rourkela, nit Trichy but because of my ranking i wasn't able to get a seat in those colleges and as in my choice filling after those 2 colleges , I had filled mnit Jaipur as 3rd preference and my rank was good enough to secure a seat in this college Admission process is to write jee barch exam and apply for josaa counselling by filling your choices and wait for rounds to get your seat , once you get any seat in choices you'll be allowed to accept that seat or freeze that seat and move to next round for better college in your choices...Read More
