Review I.K.G PTU as a second year student

Subjects in BCA are good for the programmers , the subject provide good knowledge to a student to become a good programmer but the staff members and guest faculty is not up to the mark. The guest faculty have not any good knowledge about the subjects , so students need to self study for passing out all the semesters

Every semester students pay the semester fee ,In BCA the students pay rs.22200 per semester. The university also provide scholarship to the Punjab students and Bihar students. For students of SC category in Punjab provide PMS SCHOLARSHIP and the general category students of good marks in 12th provides tution fee waiver. For Bihar students they provide Bihar credit scheme to students

The overall experience in this University is average. In this University the students of Punjab is less as compared to Bihar students. So the students of Punjab's thinking is this university is very poor in the case of good student, good staff etc. But one thing is good about the university, it held many events on every month some special events is youth fest , agaaz, savishkar , incubation,etc. The campus also provide sports curriculum activities such as cricket tournaments, football tournaments , volleyball tournaments, athletics,etc other games. In every classroom the projectors are established for good studies , presentation Many students run social clubs , litrature club, freelancer club , etc

The hostel Facility is very poor as expected by any student. The hostel charge too much fee but not providing good facilities to the students. The hostel have not any washing machine so students have to much problem for washing cloths , their have not any wifi on the particular floor so students have problems in study , only the wifi is providing in common room for study The mess meal is very poor , they use cheap quality vegetables and spices in the meal. They not provide any sweet dish to students. Only the Sunday meal is good Registration process is simple , they provide admission form for hostel to the student, and the student is fill out the form and submit to the hostel care taker If I rented a room the nearby locality is Kapurthala

Eligibility criteria for BCA is passing 12th with any stream,you can find everything on the university's official website i.e www.ptu.ac.in . Admission is done by only offline counseling. No entrance exam is required for BCA.This University also provide Post Matric Scholarship for Sc students and also provide tution fee waiver to the general students whose marks is above than 85% in 12th class.
