The curriculum is updated to be more project based. The coursework is not too hard and can be easily studied last minute before an exam. The curriculum needs to include more practical skills. Teaching methods include ppts and labs.

There are various internship roles offered by the companies coming here such as Dell, Microsoft, PWC, Accenture, Paypal, EY to name a few. Projects are undertaken in every semester in most subjects. Minor project in 6th semester and Major project in 8th semester.

From 4th semester onwards companies start visiting the campus for internship opportunities. From 6th semester there are various corporate connect programmes to get a sense of the companies that we can expect in placements. There are on campus placements in the 7th semester.

There are merit based scholarships based on the manipal entrance test score and also scholarships based on your cgpa in the following semesters. The complete cost of education is around 23 lakhs. Campus employment is not available but companies come to provide internships.

There are plenty of technical and non technical clubs which provide a good way to gain a community and network with like-minded people. Oneiros is the cultural fest of muj which is the most happening time of the year.

Hostels have common rooms, a hostel library, gym, pool, squash and badminton courts. An indoor games and dance room. The menu changes frequently though the quality of the food needs to be improved. Hostel can be availed through GHS.

I had to take the Manipal entrance test and we had the option choose a course according to the cut offs. It was held twice a year during 2021. Manipal also has a direct admission method. Overall difficulty of the exam is lesser than JEE.
