Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course I chose was the best offered course over the university be it the cutoff wise or the quality of peers beside them the main reason was that I am really interested in cse and only wanted to take that so I chose this course. The first year will be all cooled out and chilled as the classmates would be of different branches all mixed up to learn the basic engineering concepts required to be called "engineers". From the second year onwards the students will be directed towards their domains and will begin to focus on the branch they have chosen. The faculty-to-student ratio is about 1:70 from what our batch has experienced. The teaching method is over the presentation mode that the profs have prepared earlier. The term exams were once every month and it was not at all difficult to pass.

Fees and Financial Aid

You have to pay your fee for every academic year at the beginning of that academic year. I have not seen anyone getting a scholarship as of now. The courses are definitely expensive sometimes overpriced as you compared the academic part.

Campus Life

5

Talking about campus life, it has got all the things that you have dreamt about being in the college just like the movies, the architecture, the lush green environment, food outlets, cool clubs, and competitions. The annual sports fest happens in February which I think is the best time considering the pleasant weather.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Look the hostel is quite expensive not everyone can afford it given its overworked and unnecessary charges but it is the best hostel to live in, you will feel like living in a hotel given the facilities there. Talking about the mess, the food is good as compared to other colleges but the thing is the menu gets repetitive and boring overall it's good.

Admission

Getting admission into Mit is neither that easy nor that tough. You have to register yourself first for a meeting via the Manipal University site and they will charge a nominal fee for that it will be a cbt mode examination, the question was easy to intermediate level and the best thing about the meeting is that there are no reservations whatsoever. After the examination, the counselling happens and they charge 10k for it just for entering the choices which I think is too much as it is non-refundable if you won't get any of the choices u have filled.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Overall the curriculum is rated high on the comprehensiveness but moderated to high i relevance. the program's focus on renewable energy Integration and the availability of high end labs influenced me to choose this course and the curriculum provided real world foundation for public sector roles and higher studies. Exams follow the rtu cycle and the difficulty is generally high from the other branches and they are following old pattern and syllabus it should be updated

Course Curriculum Overview:

So the curriculum is good but if I talk about the latest then it's not up to that level like nothing is up to that level you cannot learn new things you have to still stick around to old thanks and real world applications there is nothing you have to separate your mind in two ways the one is for your semester exams and another is for your real world challenges

Placements are good since the highest package is around 50 lakhs per year and the lowest package is 5 lakhs per year something. Placements take place from 3rd or 4th year in college itself and the placement in computer science branch is almost 65-70%. The highest package which was offered last year was 20 lakh per year and 47 lakh per year in 2023. The top recruiters are IBM, Infosys, Cognizant, Amazon, Flipkart and the college doesn’t provide internship opportunities on campus, students have to apply by themselves.
