Remarks

As a student of Sharda University, I would definitely like to share that I've had my best days in Sharda. This University has taught me a lot and made me a more mature individual and also has helped me in my growth. So if you are a person who wants a good campus life and exposure along with great learning experiences then Sharda is definitely the place.

Entrance Preview

I opted for this college as the dates for appearing in CLAT had already passed out. So I had to go for a private institution and amongst all the private institutions in delhi/ncr I had heard a lot about Sharda University so I decided to choose this.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum of School of law, Sharda University is in strict adherence to the guidelines of the BAR COUNCIL OF INDIA. The course structure is different for each semester and we are not only taught theoretical subjects but are also given decent practical knowledge to assess our skills. Every week we are having guest lectures which help us a lot in our learnings.

Internships Opportunities

The internship is an important aspect in a law students life, therefore, recognizing the importance of practical knowledge it has been made mandatory for all the students to complete at least 9 months of internship in a 5-year course. The college has been providing various internship opportunities at reputed places such as NGT, NCDRC etc.

Placement Experience

4

The first batch of LLB passed out in 2017. Amongst them, many of the students who had given their names in the placement cell and wanted to take campus placement were notified about the quite a few good law firms and companies where they can get placed. Few among them were Pangea and Accenture. The college guarantees that 100% placement opportunities will be provided to the students who are willing to take campus placement.

College Events

4.5

There are quite a few events that keep on taking place in the college campus. The main event of our university is CHORUS which is North India's largest cultural fest. The annual fest chorus takes place in October in every year and the participation is huge. Apart from Chorus we also have Sharda Cup.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure for a student who belongs to a middle-class family is a bit on a higher side. Belonging to a middle-class family sometimes I also feel that the fee is too much to pay. The fee structure varies from courses to courses but for example, I am pursuing B.com LLB so my annual fee is 1,46,000.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, I am the student of B.com LLB and I myself is getting a scholarship since I have taken admission in this University. The scholarship is provided on the basis of your cumulative grades of each semester. As far as loans are concerned the college does not provide any loan facility from their side but you can always take the education loan from the bank of your choice if you meet certain requirements.

Campus Life

5

The campus life of Sharda University is really amazing. The University is spread across 63-acre campus which is huge and there are so many facilities, for example, there are enough food outlets where you can hang out with your friends, we have a shopping complex inside the campus, a well-equipped gym is also there along with many other things a student wishes for. As far as diversity and gender ratio is concerned we have quite a few international students and the bonding between them and us is really pleasing, we get to understand each other's culture and lifestyle.

Hostel Facilities

4

I haven't taken hostel yet. But many of my friends who live in a hostel are quite happy with the facilities and the food that is provided to them. For example, there are facilities like single seater, double seater, and triple seater hostel rooms. Also, there are proper almirahs and study tables. Also for International students, there is a separate hostel.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, we do have a Sharda Alumni Association with a 45000+ alumni base from 74+ Nationalities. There are many events and activities that are sponsored by the alumni association.

Exam Structure

The exams structure is quite simple and convenient. We have 2 semesters in a year and accordingly for each semester we are supposed to give midterms and well as end term exams. In each of the semesters apart from having theoretical exams, we are having a practical subject. The main subject is having 4 credits and the practical subject is having 2 subjects.

Admission

For taking admission in this institute I had gone to their website i.e Sharda.ac.in and reserved my slot for appearing in the Sharda University Admission Test. After appearing in the exam I was taken to the admission cell where I was told that I had cleared SUAT and now I had a one on one personal interview with one of the admission counselor's. After giving the interview I was informed that I had been selected fir the programme that I had applied for.

Faculty

4

The faculty of School of law, Sharda University is very competent, co-operative and friendly. There is an ideal ratio between students and teachers. Most of our professors have been the alumni of leading educational institutions and they impart their own learnings to us which is quite helpful for us.

It depends on the individual what he wants to obtain. It is a perfectly balanced curriculum that has pretty obvious use in real world or in further academic pursuits. No improvement according to me. Frequency and timings are perfect for the test

Course Curriculum Overview:

There were around 20 to 25 speakers in my course. Because of an enormous number of understudies in a solitary course, we were partitioned in various segments and each segment has distinctive instructors for a similar subject ( few were normal). The majority of the teachers are matured between 50 to 60 who are probably going to get retirement however they have the main part of information and experience since they are profoundly qualified. Also, not many speakers have recently added researchers of the organization who don't have that much insight yet discovered new and simpler strategies of learning and instructing.

Placement Experience:

After the 5th semester students get eligible for campus placements. The highest package companies were Byju's, Big Basket, Tech Mahindra, etc. and give the best offers to the undergraduate students. Highest package was 7Lpa and the average was 1.2Lpa and the profiles offered were BDA, CSE, Marketing, HR, etc. Out of 100% students 70-80% students get placed and the rest prepare for Master course My plan after getting the degree is to prepare for the Master course.
