Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose this course because I took computer science instead of bio science in my 12th standard. I wanted to continue this career because i love coding and genuinely wanted to pursue a software based career. Since computer sciwnce engineering is a profesaional degree, with right amount of marks i could get into some of the main companies.

Internships Opportunities

4

A lot of companies offers internships to students at our college. Internship with stipend are less in our college. Recently zoho started their r and d industrial lab near our college. It would provide more internship and other programs for the students. The college faculties helps us to find internships and keep us up to date with upcoming internship programs, tech fests amd expos.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placement cell starts training the students at the beginning of third semester. Some of the major companies like infosys, UST Global etc.. visits our college frequently every year. Highest package offered was about 6 to 8 lakhs per annum and average would be 3 to 5 lakhs per annum. After getting my degree i would most probably try to get placement through our college and gain some experience, if that does not work i would do some small courses for certificates to be added to my resume and try for interviews at the same time.

Fees and Financial Aid

So basically there are two types of admissions, they are merit and management. Merit seats is based on your entrance exam marks, basic fees for a merit seat is 35000 Rs per year, that is for the 4 year course you need 1,40,000 Rs for merit seats. For management seats, it is 65000 to 70000 Rs per year, so for a 4 year course that would be 2,80,000 Rs. There are a lot of scholarships that you could avail if you are eligible.

Campus Life

4

There are a lot of fests and tech expos consucted in our college and in collaboration with other colleges. Mainly it is held in other colleges where we collaborate with them. Library consists of variety of study materials, novels, story books etc.. Our faculties uses the textbooks available at our library so we could research it if needed. Sports activites are held in february, march that is at the beginning of even semesters. Participation in university matches and tournaments are very high. We have a common college announcement group, yearwise groups, and also classwise groups. So information is widespread.

Admission

The course I wanted to study was computer science engineering, so for that the basic eligibility was 12th pass and you have to pass the entrance exam keam/jee etc.. The application forms and other registration details for the entrance exams can be found on their official site. You just have to search the name of the exam you want to apply. You could also research about it in youtube. The timing of exams are in april, may or june, it we cant predict the exact time and sate so my advice is to keep up to date with the official sites notification centres. Every entrance exam have a level of their own difficulty. Keam is the lowest difficulty exam compared to others. Then there is jee mains and jee advanced which is the topmost difficult exam, passing this will get you into IIT's and NIT's. There other entrance exams conducted by the colleges itself. In my opnion, the admission process should be clear to everyone so the authority themselves should make an detailed video or a circular.

Campus placements are highly volatile taking the stats from over the past three years there has been an up trend as well a down trend, I hope I will get placed through on campus interviews, the highest package of this year was for two graduates who got into IBM with 22 lakhs per aanum, there are few who didn't get into any of the companies while there were others who got int Amazon and other reputated companies, if I do not get into a reputed company through my college on campus placements the.
