Course Curriculum Overview
This field includes a new exposure to the world of design that already exists but very few are aware of. The curriculum includes everything that is required to be known to a student before getting into the market. Some theory subjects can be reduced or removed as they are not even slightly related to the course. Field and market visits can be provided by the faculty which is very important for the students.
Placement Experience
Students bceome eligible for placements in the last semester of the respective course. As in interior design department , University ensures that each and every student is placed in a good company or design firm Don't know much about placements in other departments.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course fee was 1,15,000 earlier, but it recently increased to 1,30,000 from this year. Overall course is affordable as compared to other colleges and universities providing same course . This course attracts a huge stationery bill such as A1 sheets or printouts, material for models , and many more.
Campus Life
The annual fest is named as 'RHYTHM' , which is usually held in the end of Feb. or the beginning of March. Almost all books are available in the library that are needed in the overall curriculum. Every class has projectors and university also have various computer labs. There are many student groups focusing of photography(Maverick club), singing , dancing (QDC), acting and drama(abhivyakti) , art and design (DOTT) , Socialz, Student Council , and many others.
Hostel Facilities
The rooms are in appartment type systems which are well maintained. All the complaints are solved within 24 hrs. There are Ac and non AC rooms Mess meals are overall fine , which is better than other hostel mess out there. Registration process is simple which is same to the course registration.
Admission
There was no entrance exam. The eligibility for the course is 10+2 with 60% or above. Scholarships are provided to students above 75% in 12th class. For applications you just have to visit the university's site and fill the form . Exams are held thrice a semester - 1st in sem(50 marks), 2nd in sem (50 marks) and end sem (100 marks).
