Hostel is good in terms of infrastructure.

There is no source of studying except your classes
No proper classes is taken. Very few classes are properly run

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is not that much modified. It is based on old education policy which is very wrong to teach education students old policy knowledge. There is lack of smart claases and the ICT is just taught in books only . No medium of technology is updated. Faculty is good but they didn't take classes because of documentation and paper work load.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is very minimal in comparison with other central universities. State scholarships are open for students. No financial assistance is given to students and there is very very less amount of campus placement in professional courses.

Campus Life

There is no exploration,no societies ,no clubs in the central universities. There are few student driven society which runs over political aspects only . infrastructure is not that much good in education department.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel room is provided with the capacity of two seater in a room furnished with a bed ,study table, almirah and a chair. Mess food is eatable with ok ok taste . Menu includes sweet dish twice a week and no non veg is given in the hostel mess. Infrastructure is good in the hostel. The registration process for hostel is based upon merit of your previous class and fee is around 4500/year . The rented rooms are very very expensive with zero facilities in that. A Student gives around 5000 per month for single room with toilet and bathroom and a kitchen.

Admission

The eligibility for doing M.Ed. is Graduation in any stream and B.Ed. Most of the process in HNBGU is blended i.e., online +offline. Reservation is also given according to central norms and extra weightage is given for NCC and NSS students. There should be a proper admission committee. The process is too long and the hostel facilities are also not so good. Infrastructure of education department is very poor. The faculty is good. The cut off marks for HNBGU is very low and also it has spot counseling at the vacant seats.

An overview of my university (HNBGU)

I've applied for Btech course in Benaras Hindu University. But before the counselling result declared I've already taken admission in Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University, Uttrakhand. I 've choosen this university because low BTech course fee and also one more reason is weather and environment of the state uttrakhand. I haven't got rejection from other college.
