The placements over here is amazing but as i mentioned before, it depends from student to student, companies like aaj tak, news 24, abp news and other big news channels come for recruitment and the students get the jobs on the basis of their CV's and resume.

EY, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley and all other companies which defies international economics are the ones which recruits students of JGU. Theh even conduct seminars and workshops and tells us the things which we need to add in our arsenal to be fit and ready for placements. Jindal Students of Economics easily score placements worth 5-7 lakhs and nearly all the students who wish for placements gets it too.

The course curriculum is highly relevant and comprehensive, according to me. The core courses that are mandatory for a student to take are highly relevant and necessary in order to develop the relevant skills and knowledge in that specific domain of the field. Electives on the other hand, are a student's choices and may or may not be relevant directly to the course one is studying. The university offers a wide range of electives and the electives are also taught by highly qualified professors across the 12 different schools of JGU. The end semester exams are either of 30 marks or 50 marks, depending on the course. Electives usually have a 30-mark end-of-semester exam for 1.5 hours. The exams are pretty easy and theoretical and contextual, unless the course one has chosen is strictly application-based and demands applications of theoretical frameworks. The core exams in the first and second year are divided across 50 and 30 mark exams and are often for 3 hours. Placement are decent average package is in the range of 3-5 LPA . Several companies come in campus for placement opportunities including big names like CVENT, TCS , Wipro etc . The placement are not so great but they provide a decent starting packages to fresher.

I did my senior secondary in arts so I choose bachelor of arts for my further studies in this college.In bachelor of arts There are total six semesters in three years. the teaching quality is good, but there is one problem that the lectures are too long for a single subject. I scored 72% in bachelors of arts.This course in this college really prepares me for my real word applications and for my further academics

The placements rate at Ashoka is 100% though majority of students chose to go for further studies either abroad or prestigious Indian colleges. But if you want to sit for placement Ashoka will make sure you well trained and able to present your true self.

I was influenced because I wanted to study more about how a person makes decisions, form perception and how a person's mind works . The curriculum prepares us for real world as we study about different aspects of psychology. The curriculum can be improved a little by adding a elective course in which we can get a little experience and arranging trips . The exams are not too difficult or too easy , just in perfect depth of the subject.
