Library is very rich with all books for students.
Auditorium is good made a a classic theatre.

Dislikes

The hectic curriculam gives no time between two semesters.

Course Curriculum Overview

Specifically electronics and telecommunication department has a rich lab equipments.Exam are taken in semester system. Teaching Methods are also good as the teachers uses the rich labs for the practicals and PPTs for the Theory classes

Placement Experience

from 4th semester students become eligible for placement.I dont know about the placements much more but in 2022-23 there was 12LPA the highest package grabed by a CSE student.Average Package was 4.5 LPA. Usually TCS, Wipro, Capegemini, Mindtree, L&T , Infosys visit our college for placememnts.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution Fees : 20865 There are no such hikes in the rate as it is government college. CG Post matric Scholarship is available for the ST SC and OBC students and out of which you can pay your college Fees.

Campus Life

There are Two annual events popular in GEC Raipur: 1.AAYAAM- whch is a college level sports competition which is usually inter-branch.Apart from that cultural activities also used to be there on Saturday. 2.AVESH: this is a tech-fest of GEC-R.

Admission

We have to give CGPET entrance exam which is a state level exam conducted by CGVYAPAM.We can get every details in their website.Exam time given was 3 hours and have to attempt 150 questions (No negative marking).For Admission in GECs make you 11th and 12th class subjects strong.

Placement Experience:

The college offers a good placement support to the students who are willing to work hard for the same. It has multiple companies hiring for pre placement opportunities and internships as well. Internships are necessary in the 4th semester.

Liberation to the students.

Placement Experience:

Students get the chance to get placed and internships from 5-6th sem. The companies that have visited our clg are infosys, tcs and many more reputable companies. The no. Of offers are not exactly known in figure but it's good amount. The percentage should be around 70% . Haven't really decided what to do after getting degree but will probably apply for jobs.

Admission:

I had completed my diploma From Rungta college in 2015 and then by Counseling (Counselling of BE /B Pharma) I got Lakhmi. Chand institute Of Technology college then there was a call from the college for my Document verification after verification I filled up the admission form, then the fee submission.

I had applied to colleges under Indraprastha University via my JEE score and to colleges under the chhattisgarh board using my 12th board marks. Since my JEE score wasn't high enough for colleges like NIT,IIT I had turned to Chhattisgarh State colleges for more options. Further my finances could not allow private colleges at the time. Hence I applied to GEC Raipur, along with colleges like GEC Bilaspur, GEC Jagldalpur and other engineering colleges in the state. For admission into the state government engineering colleges one must clear the CGPET exam.
