Likes

Library is so big. I can get any books , journals or magazine to read
The campus is full of greenery, we get fresh air
The bus facility is free of cost for all students

Dislikes

There is no AC in the class room.We suffer lot of pain in summer.
There are no such facilities for sports .
It is in a rural area .So there is no big market for shopping

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is average. Teachers are friendly and cooperative. They teaches well. There teaches us how to improve our intra personal skills.One year consist of 2 semester.1 semester consists of 3 exams including class tests and surprise tests.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 90000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

There no such fee increase policy .It depends on the management.now the course fee is 90000 INR.There is no regularity in such fee rate hikes.There is also semester exam fees, registration fees club joining fees etc. There is no such scholarship scheme provided by the college. Campus placement is very less.

Campus Life

The campus life is very well as compared to studies.There is lot of things for entertainment. There is an annual function and annual sports is held every year at the end of February or start of March. The name of the annual function is 'Vasantika'. We can access all type of books from the library with a library card . The library is very big.

Admission

It takes students who have applied in this clg through sams odisha . You must have JEE main and OJEE rank to admit in this clg. You can get the application form physically from the college. Application fees is 2500 Inr. Reservation for SC, ST is available.

Life at NIST

Placement Experience:

I actually have a very little idea about placements of our uni few seniors says there is not a single company visiting, while few were discussing the highest placement which was something like 20lpa or something,i think companies do visit our campus it may not be much but i have definetly seen one or two companies visiting. I plan to do MBA after my Btech so i am not that serious about whether i am getting placed or not.

Placement Experience:

Amazon, Google, Wipro, HCL Tech and many such which has been around for a while in the tech business and has built tech for many overseas companies too are the ones which have already started coming. I am in my final year and around 40% students have already been recruited and I hope before this semester ends, i too get placements.

Many multinational tech companies providing jobs to the students. The students get eligible for job after final semester. Many companies provide webinar and seminar progranmes to the students. The average package for freshers is about 300000 per year. Maximum percentage of students are getting opertunity of job. Many students also plans for higher studies for more knowledge.

Remarks:

The college is good with respect to amenities and infrastructure. But there is huge scope of improvment in the faculties present. Hiring some experience faculties shall help. The placement cell needs complete make over. The higher management too needs to take pro active steps for the same.

First reason was that it was cheaper in fee as compared to other colleges at that time but now they have increased the fee also later stage I realised that I did mistake choosing this college over the available options like silicon institute of technology,cv Raman University and SOA around similar fee structure with better facilities and placement stats. If you want to make your career bright so come here

Actually I also applied for Iter Bbsr . But due to some family reason I can't take admission in it . Then after I see that, Driems facilities is also good. And no other college than compared within these fees structure and high facilities . No , I didn't get any rejection from any college, I didn't go there , due to some financial issues..
