Campus Architecture is very good. Also it is lush green.

Many Events happen in cu like concert, seminars, etc

Dislikes

High hostel fees comparing other universities.
Food is not so good in or near Chandigarh University.
Inside the campus things are expensive than outside.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum was quiet good. It was industry oriented.The teaching method is average. Here in Cu he have 2 mid semester tests and 1 end semester test. Msts are of 1 hour and Ests are of 3 hours. The questions are from easy level to hard level.

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities are there if you don't get internship university provide you a project that after completion you can show in your resume. The projects that you will get are quite good and Industry based.

Placement Experience

Placement drives happen in CU. Cu also provides training program for placements. The package differ from different courses but overall 4- 5 lakhs is the average packages. In case of course like BBA people plan to do MBA.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tutions fees for my course is presently 73500 but it increases year by year. Compared to rest of the unis CU's fees is much more affordable. You can easily available a scholarship via CUCET for the 1st year. But you have to maintain it by keeping 7.5 cgpa. If not you will loose your scholarship.

Campus Life

CU is a very happening place here there happens many concert time to time. While the induction program evert night there happens a concert for certain days. Each block have a library. There are great opportunities in CU but the academic is very heptic. Everytime you will assignment and projects.

Hostel Facilities

Here you have many options in hostel like 3 seater, 4 seater, 5 seater, 3 seater AC, 4 seater AC. The hostel is pretty high in comparison to other hostels. The mess food is average. With personal experience I suggest living in flats or pgs, in hostel people face many issues like water doesn't suite them resulting in hairfall

Hostel Fee: INR 138000 per year

Admission

I had given the CU entrance exam i.e, CUCET, after the exam if you score a certain score you will be given scholarship. You can apply for the CUCET exam from the site. The exam was based on your 12th subjects.

A good campus.

Placement Experience:

There is a subject called TPP in which the student is allowed to attend placement drives in their colleges. It includes verbal and aptitude. More than 500 companies visit my college and offer 6lacs to 10lacs per annum to the deserving candidates.

Lovely Professional University’s Truth!!

Placement Experience:

The campus placements here are good. Many of my batchmates have been placed. Students become eligible for placements after second year. Many companies have visited here and offered job roles in different fields like sales, operation, lead generation etc. Packages offered ranges from 10lpa to 4 lpa. And the average package is 5 lpa. There is an option if you dont want to chose placement services. Mostly students who have opted for placements services have been placed and the rest will also be placed soon. My plan is to pursue MBA after the completion of my degree.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

I didn't apply to any other college. I chose it because it was close to my home. The admission process to give CUCAT exam for which the fees is 1000 rupees. The passing marks are 40 out of 100.
