I rate this course 7 out of 10.I rate the faculty members 4 out of 10. Because of weak market value and competition. Now in this course competition is very high and for the AI the most of the students are getting unemployed.

Internships Opportunities

The companies like tcs , infosys offered internships. They gave stipends for the internship.Also the iit bhubaneswar affered internship in our college and gave stipend for the internship. The projects are good.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

Our college is under MAKAUT university. They take 45000 per sem and total cost is nearly 6 lakh. They increases the price per sem . Now placements are very bad . For this cause job recruitment is very low.

Campus Life

Our annual technical festival name is resonance. Our annual cultural festival name is spandan. We have NSS and NCC in college. Our college campus is very big Per year there have a blood donation camp organize by nss group.

Admission

I am pursuing the B.tech course in the Department of computer science and Engineering. I passed the West Bengal joint entrance examination. I held a 42000 rank in WBJEE. Then I was admitted to this college via counselling.

Life of a BTech DT student studying in WBUAFS

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester, the students are eligible for campus placements. Various companies including all the famous food and dairy industries and brands like AMUL, ITC, Keventers visit the university for recruiting the students at various posts. The highest starting package after completing graduation is 7 lakhs/annum and the average is 4-5 lakhs per annum. This can be increased to about 10-12 lakhs per annum after completion of post graduation and the average package also increases to 7-8 lakhs/ annum. The percentage of students getting placements is 100% My plan after getting the BTech degree in Dairy technology is opting for higher studies and completing post graduation.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semister students can sit for a placement. In our college or in our time we have limited companies.our college has invited 3 to 4 companies for placement. The highest package was- 7lakh/ annum. Avg package-3.5 lakh/annum, Percentage of students getting job -40% My plan for m.tech.

A Moderately good college

Remarks:

Positives of this college is mostly the fact that it is a functioning college. With labs and classrooms. The college has AC too. The DSC is also a big positive point. Negatives: the people, the redundant course, the initial 1.5 months of ragging.

It's a very good college

Remarks:

College management is not as good as other colleges but there are very helpful to us. It is one of the good colleges in which focus is on studies not on other things. If someone wants to study and enjoy college life one must come to this college. It’s having a campus of 27 acres.
