Likes

We have a very good sports department and many students get opportunity in playing every game
The campus is very big and it is very green. Also. So the air-quality near the campus area is very good.
The infrastructure of our college by is very good there. It is evolving day by day.

Dislikes

The placement cell is very poorly and air and they don’t care about our placements very much
The faculty here is experience experienced, but there are not any specific teachers for specific subjects. Teachers professors, teacher many subjects
The result comes out very late. It’s been almost 2 months since I have final papers and the result hasn’t come out yet.

The curriculum in our BCA batch is not that very difficult but it is not also very helpful in getting placements like 10,00,00 para or 20,00,00 para annum but it is decent for a job like 5 to 6,00,00 per annum

Many companies like cognizant Infosys Z scale come in our Come in our college, but they do not provide much placements every year around 30 to 35% students placed on campus. The highest package was 14,00,00 per annum given by ZScaler

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of BCA is ?22,200. Since my admission, the fees hasn't been increased once and and scholarship is only for Punjab state student that who are SC and ST, their name of the scholarship is post-matric scholarship

Campus Life

There is one youth fest which takes place. Once every year it is named as cultural youth fest and sports events like inter-college, in this event, many sports like badminton, cricket, football, basketball, swimming and ball takes place

Hostel Facilities

Hostel fees in this college is ?26,000. So in this rate I guess it is very affordable and each room has each each room has two students and they are provided with attached bathroom. We have one fan two tube lights in the room

Admission

There was no such entrance exam. Direct admissions took place for BCA. The student must be 12th pass and you can avail the seat. The admission process took place in the months around July and August. The registration fees at that time was ?1000

Placement Experience:

In our college we have the max amount of placement is 45 lakhs which is preety good for the student who got it. For placement they also train us for our communication skills , technical skills, general knowledge skills. They give chance to all the students to give the interview in which the company can interested in us. In the last semesters or last second semesters we can eligible for the placement. The companies visited in our college like MICROSOFT, TCS, AMAZON, GOOGLE, VIPRO, IBM. My plans after getting the degree is that to find the job for in-college placement. In BCA the companies can hier us in 5 lakhs to 10 lakhs package.

Best College in North India

Placement Experience:

I heard a lot about this college as this is the best college in north India for placement, which is true also, but not for mechanical. Only CS and ECE students get placed during campus placement, but wait, it's not that easy as the placement is done along with students of C.G.C Jhanjeri and Chandigarh University. So for every job, there are hundreds of students competing. Placement cells are very friendly and they help a lot during placement time and grooming sessions.

Placement Experience:

1) The students become eligible for placements in their last semester. 2)The companies visited are Microsoft, Tcs and lupin .there are no of offers made by the companies to various students. 3)The highest package is 30lpa and average package is 8lpa and profiles offered are of software engineer, software test engineer, etc. 4)Almost 80 percent of students got placed in every companies. 5)My plan is to do a master degree after my getting the degree.

Remarks:

Every thing have a good and a bad side in it. Let's take positive first. This university offers a great infrastructure and accommodation facilities. This university can be a heaven for sports lover. There are many clubs where you can show and enhanced your skills. Going through the negative prospective some times food of mess become a threat. And the faculty as I discussed earlier needs to be updated.

Don't Come to RIET, If you wanna enjoy your collage life
