The college contains a Nice play ground where we can play multiple games at once
Gym facility provided was also superb I take the gym course every morning and it also helped me a lot
The library had 10000+ books in it which includes stories novels etc where I spent most of the time

Dislikes

The campus was small compared to other aided and government colleges

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose bachelor of science in mathematics because my favourite subject was mathematics also was very good at using numbers. This college stopped bsc mathematics course last year lots of other courses are available in this college especially bacholer of social work is demanding one

Class Size: 9Course Fees: INR 42200 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees was collected on semester wise. My fees was exactly 21100 per semester. Fees changes upon the difference in cources . Some scholarships are also available in here . Office staffs will support you in finding them

Campus Life

The campus of the college was comparitevly smaller compared to other aided colleges but when we compare to self financed colleges this college also have a good campus. College include hostel,gym,canteen ,and a big library containing 10000 books in it

Hostel Facilities

When I was living there hostel was only for upto a 70 to 80 students now the hostel has been shifted to new place and new hostel facility is available for 100+ students also . Food provided in the hostel was also superb

Hostel Fee: INR 10000 per year

Admission

The admission was based on merit system.we can apply through Calicut University admission portal there is no special exams for entering . Majority of the students who have 65+ percentage in plus two exam will be alloted to the college. This is a self financed college so also apply for Management seat as well

A Decent College for BSc chemistry students

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed this degree for me to pursue higher studies in uk or foreign country to study cosmetics related field. So for that bsc chemistry degree must have But this curriculum doesn't teach something base to that I think so.. For further studies the teachers need improvement to teach certain topics some teachers didn't even prepare to study students and lab safety is not in the lab.Because of the teaching the portions are done in last minutes and often exams are difficult in major subjects so they need to improve their study methods and often approach students nicely..

Why you should/shouldn't join LISSAH

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

Placement Experience:

From semester 5 the opportunity to get a job is out there. Many companies comes to interview and they swlect the apt ones. Sun, Mahendra etc are some of the companies i remember. The highesr package for freshers is like 15000 a month. There is a high percentage of students getting placements its 80-85%.My plan is to study masters.

I chose Bsc electronics, it has an attractive curriculum and some of them are influenced me in some way. The facilities are well-known about the curriculum preparing and all. The current curriculum is good but it needs some changes. Include more practicals is one of my suggestion. Teaching methods are good it doesn't need any change. Exams are conducted by Kerala University, so the college can't do anything in main exams but the college will complete all the portions before the exam date it is sure.

Passing the information

College has 90% physical structure facilities like classrooms, washrooms, assembly area, parking area, drinking water, rest area, library, canteen. There is no politics allowed in college campus. Still in 2019 they do not allow to bring mobile phones in campus. Very poor felicitation towards technology. No proper announcement channels and speakers in classrooms.
