Entrance Preview

No entrance exam for my course. The course I choose was just introduced on that year and it was the budding period of ecommerce sector so chosen that course. College is the best among that locality so choose that college. Admission is carried out in 2 batches one is in management quote, which needs donation an other is merit quote which don't need donation.

Course Curriculum Overview

Since the course was just introduced that year, its syllabus resbelled as like bcom(CA) course. I heard that it has been revised after 2 years.

Internships Opportunities

We had no internships. We only have industrial visits.

Placement Experience

Placements was not good at that time, only 5% got placed. Companies like l&t, Infosys and wipro came for campus. Offer was just 15-20k p.m

Campus Life

Gender ratio is 50:50. Gender ratio for faculty would be 65:35(female: male). Our college has a good track record for creating best students. Culture inside the college would be very good. We have enough infrastructure to enjoy sports and social clubs to bring out our extra area of interest.

Placement Experience:

The placements in sastra is immaculate they have nothing to complaint of .Students from my course given placement training and eligible for placements from third year. Large scale of campanies have visited. some of them will be Tata consultancy(TCs), Paypal, federal banks ,Infosys etc. The highest package was 90000 per month and average package was 25000 per month. Students who have 8.5 cgpa or more will have pretty good offer from reputed companies. Plans after getting my degree is to do masters in abroad.

A view on recent days MCC

Placement Experience:

In MCC there is placement but it's not 100% placement, only 10 to 20 from a class of 60 gets placed, so when it comes to placement it's upto to you and your skills. Normaly the placement enrollment starts at beginning of your 5th semester or end of your fourth semester, you can opt for placement or higher study. The highest package was from Standard Chartered & Deloitte it was 6 Lakhs CTC. Accenture, TCS and some well known companies will participate in placement drive. The average package will be Rs.3.5 Lakhs CTS. I'm planning to go for higher studies while doing a part time job after getting degree.

The psg college of arts and science is a prestigious college in tamilnadu and every student has a dream of studying in our college because the merit system makes it more likable for students as there are two types of applications one is aided and another one is self finance the aided structure made me to chose this college over other colleges . The application has to be applied on the psg college website and once you are eligible for counseling the will ask you to attend it and if you are eligible for the seat you will get seat . I applied in Sri Krishna College of arts and science for BBA logistics and after hearing the fee structure i chose my mind only to join in psg college.
