Course Curriculum Overview

I choose to pursue computer enginnering because it's highly sought after in the industry and offers the potential for a luractive salary, with computer/IT graduates often receiving top packages. The student-to-faculty ratio stands at 60:1, featuring well-qualified instructors, although teaching methods vary in effectiveness.

Internships Opportunities

Students receive interships after the first year directly from the college. In-house interships occurs after each semester, covering various domains such as artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Web-development, cybersecurity and programming.

Placement Experience

By the seventh semester, student are eligible for campus placements, attracting companies like seclore, TCS, wipro and Nucsoft. Notably, in 2018, an off-campus offer from google marked the highest package at 1.2 crore. On average, student secure package ranging from 5 to 6 LPAduring placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fee is 93,427, while TFWS students pay 18000. If you enroll through the CAP round, you can apply for EBC scholarship, refunding 50% of your total fees. The four-year fees renmains consistent at 93,427 with additional of 12,000 for study materials, including assignment and experiments sheets and with books.

Campus Life

Every year, our college hosts the CARNIVAL fest, inviting participation from neighboring institutions. Additinaly, there's an annual tech fest named UTSAV, held every three years, which surpasses CARNIVAL in scale. The college library comprehensive and meticulously managed, catering to diverse reading interets.

Admission

I have took admission through cap round. In second round i have been assigned this college. At first, needed 80 percentile in MHT-CET for computer science with 60 spots. Now, intake expanded to 180, cutoff fluctuates annually based on student performance.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The part of the curriculum that inspired me to take up this course is definitely applied mathematics as engineering has a lot of math integrated in it and helps the student to improve his/her logic and problem solving skills which are very important in today's job market. Some areas where I'd like the syllabus to improve are NEP related subjects like PPS, Indian Knowledge System etc. These courses are not related to the major but are included because of the New Education Policy(NEP). I feel that most of these courses are a complete waste of time and can be replaced by better courses.

SLRTCE with Great Improvements

The MHTCET conduct exam for colleges in maharashtra for Engineering. It had 3 round for college selection if you got college in first round it had option for freeze or betterment. Aplications dates are given on the MHTCET weebsite itself. It conduct every year for beast colleges in Maharashtra.
