KIET Group of Institutions - [KIET], B.Tech, Electronics Control System Engg./Electronics

Remarks

Overall this is a good place to enhance your professional life .You will get enough opportunity to get placed .but there is a need to work on labs as labs are not equipped with latest technologies.

Entrance Preview

I took admission through UPTU counseling I choose this college as it has a good environment and the good ranking in state

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

College curriculum is quite good .If you have desire to do anything then you have various labs in every departmentIn mechanical we have SAE team that works day and night in making various cars and other things . In electronics and communication, we have yantra lab and TEAM DINOBOTS that will help you in enhancing your skills in robotics In computer science we have TEAM ERP that will train you how to make apps and maintain its working

Internships Opportunities

I didn't have much knowledge about internships but yes Kiet Group Of Institutions provides internships in its TBI department. But ,The college calls in a few companies and there is a process of selection there after. If you get selected you are offered an internship opportunity by the company. They may pay you or ask you to work as an intern without any pay.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placement of 2018 batch went outstanding. 79% students are placed in different renowned companies. The highest salary offered is 13 LPA and avg salary offered is 4.2 LPA. There is a placement cell in the college itself and helps students to get placed easily. Here, the companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, etc., visit the campus for the mass recruitment offering the salary of 3.2 LPA to each. Big companies like Samsung, Oppo, Adobe, Indian Navy recruit the students from an electrical and mechanical branch. But you really need to work hard to get placed as The number of students selected is nearly equal from all the branches except for the IT, CS and ECE department which give maximum placements. In these branches, 80-108 students get placement out of 180 students except these branches placement is not up to the mark .

Fees and Financial Aid

College offer fee waiver seats in which you don't need to pay the tuition fees but these seats are 9 on every 180 so to secure your fee waiver you really need to get good ranking in aktu exam. Moreover there are some scholarship forms every year by state and central government that offers up to 80k of scholarship every year.

Campus Life

3.5

It was 4 years of non stop fun and learning. You would enjoy the experience of you find a good circle. I myself won a state level debate while I was in college. The college gives you ample opportunities in every field to showcase your talent. The gender ratio is a bit skewed not as much as in other colleges though.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are really helpful They help you in every aspect of your life related to education and social life. They also teach you important things if you join any college group.there was no or minimum ragging in college. Alumni network is strong and if you have good connections with them you can expect a lot of help after college as well.

Exam Structure

exams makes everyone frustrated so that they also feel tired. But according to me its very important in engineering college to conduct exams every month because everyone knows in engineering college engineers studies only in exams

Admission

I apply for UPTU exam and secured 7500 rank And the through online UPTU counselling I get this college .. Then we have to go for document verification at the institute with a fee demand draft. I am quite interested in electronics engineering fromm my school days onwards so i chose it in this college.

Faculty

4.5

I will give 9 out of 10 to the faculty .most of them are P.HD holders and well educated and will stand for you when ever you need there help. Even for weak students they come to college on Sunday to teach them. every faculty has a minimum experience of 5 - 6 years of experience remember i said minimum. As they are so experienced so it is quite understandable that they are very much interactive they try to interact with every student in the class

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements from the 3rd year. The placement of the college is decent. The average package for tech branches stands at 4-5 LPA. Most of the offers are made from mass recruiters like TCS, cognizant, etc. However, product-based companies also visit the campus but very few students get short-listed for them. The highest package for the 2025 batch was around 22 lakhs from JP morgan in which 2 students got placed. Microsoft also offered a package of 18 LPA. The placement percentage is around 50-60%. If you maintain 8+ CGPA and have the fundamentals clear then you can definitely secure a decent package from this college. The placement department of the college is supportive.
