overall its good. even management people(Sir) sometimes come to college to see whether everything is running smoothly or not

CET. scored 78. i opted for this college because its nearby to my place. for me college doesnot matter, what matters is how much i am able to grasp and score, and develop my skills.

Internships Opportunities

This year they started internship program. as this is the first year i dont know much details.

Placement Experience

placement and job oppotunities provided by college are really good. its on us how much we are capable of taking advantage of that opportunity. this college organizes their own placement drive, where more than 20 companies come for all branches. its good.

College Events

event celebration starts with 15th august, then college foundation day, freshers party, teachers day, engineers day all this event for first sem. then in second sem, sports, gathering and farewell along with workshops, conferences, guest lecture, industrial visit.

Alumni/Alumna

seniors are very helpful especially in completing assignments and preparation of exams.we organize alumni meet every year. we get to know more details about outside technology and working environment through our alumnis.

Exam Structure

exams are very easy to give if you have studied well. for online exams of first year and second year computer dept. and cad/cam labs are used, its just one hour task to give exams.and for theory classrooms with 35 students per class.practical exams are also relaxed execute program came to you then external will come and ask you questions.

Admission

admission process is pretty simplar. simply fill online form on dte site, go to FC centre verify form, then in cap round give details of your favourite college and thats its. if your good lick is good you will get your college in first attempt. then just visit that college and do the remaining formalities. the admin here is very helpful and nice to speak with. they give you detail information and in one go your admission is done.

Faculty

faculties here are all with masters degree and some are pursuing their phd. they are teaching and even providing written notes. even sometimes if they are not able to answer few question in class the very next day they come with solution to that problem.

placements start in 7th - 8th semester . Companies like wipro cisco and TCs etc visit. Average package is 4-5 LPA , and highest I could say 9 to 10 LPA .. my plans would be- if not got high paying job on campus I will try off campus too..

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and every year many companies come for hiring. Recently companies like TCS Accenture Cognizant Hitachi JSW Group Philips Axis Bank and some startups also visited so we get both IT and core chances. As per the latest data the highest package was around 24 LPA and the average stays around 6 to 6.5 LPA for most students and the lowest offers start from 3.5 LPA so it depends a lot on the role and company. Many students get placed but it mostly depends on skills performance and branch so it is not guaranteed for everyone. I feel the college gives decent chances but we also have to do our own preparation because competition is high. If I dont get placement from campus then I will try off campus also because there are many openings outside specially in IT. Overall placements are good for this level college and since companies keep coming for drives students who prepare properly usually get at least one offer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. My experience of iiit pune

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements once they enter 3rd year of college. Some notable companies that visit the campus is nomura, walmart, amazon, nvidia and they take 5-6 candidates each while nomura takes 15-16 per year. The highest on campus is 43 lakhs while off campus is around 1.4cr. average package is 14-15 lpa mostly for swe roles. Percentage student getting placed is 50% oncampus and if we add off campus the number goes to 80%. I plan to work in the industry for 2-3 years and then try to go for masters.

I apply for various colleges like dy patil , sopanrao moze , mit , coep , aissm but i got alard college of engineering and managment because of i cant fit in cutoff list of other collges . I cant reject any college but i dont get addmision oportunity in other colleges due to my percentage so i only get this college in the list .
