The campus greenery is so good.rooms are neat and clean
There is a free gate coaching provided 3 times in a week
College provides in campus hospitality,that is the best facilities in our campus I liked.

Dislikes

The college time is very disappointed and mechanical department is far away from the hostel
Provided hostel canteen's foods or meals is the wrost experience i ever experienced in my life
The semester exams are held within four month instead of six months

Course Curriculum Overview

Teacher are very friendly and supportive.driems provide a very good teaching facilities in mechanical branch.so I choose this course in this college.there must be a smart board in each class room.the exam is held in every 5 months .there are two internal exams in each semester

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 90000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The course fees is 90,000 and hostel fee is 53,000.there is no tuition provided in this college.every sc/St/obc students get scholarship of amount 20,000 .the scholarship name is at sc and MBC welfare.

Campus Life

There is a special function named as vasantika which held every year.there is also a tech fest machzine occurred in gap of every 6 month.in classroom there is projectors and whiteboards.every year there is annual sports including cricket, football, volleyball etc. There is a cultural acting club provided by College

Admission

If you want to joining the college you have to pass the 10th exam and 12th exam . If you want to join engineering if will be appear the jee main then you eligible for this course no need wory about the exam percentage. There is a official Website of DRIEMS University you will get the fee structure and application form and also date. There is no reservations on basis of Caste but if you want to reserve you seat you wil be pay for that.

Our college give good placement but packages are very low package start with 150000 and end in 700000 . But you study properly then you try pursuing higher studies. 40% students placed but below 400000 . after completing you try off campus placement then you secured good salary on good company.

placements are average...not feels like an iit but its ok ...this yaer percentage of placement was 90% and highest ctc was of 67.4 LPA with median of 12LPA and average of 17 LPA ...most of the placements for SDE roles. My plan is to finish my degree as soon as possible and get placed for a SDE role so that i can survive

The placement stats of IIT Bhubaneswar are quite good. For the 2025 placement season, the highest CTC was 67.6 LPA and the mean CTC was 14.5 LPA, with a total of 22 PPO offers. Approximately 90% students were placed this year. Major recruiters were Google, Oracle, Zomato, Goldman Sachs, NVIDIA and Meesho. This year, there were 5 international offers (4 from Accenture Japan and 1 core offer from Niterra Japan).

Honest and Genuine review of NIT Rourkela

Placement Experience:

So the students become eligible for placemant usually from the 7th semester of the Btech which is from the 4th year and the internship opportunities are available from the 3rd year onwards that is from 5th and 6th semester. So in year 2024-25 the number of companies that visited The campus is around 330 And the total job offers offered is about 1200. So the highest package in the EC branch is about 1.2 crore per annum and the average package for the EC branch is around 13 to 14 lakhs. And the Profile of jobs are core electronics, VLSI and semiconductor roles ,system and embedded developments, software engineering, IT services, consulting and analytics. The percentage of student which are getting placed are in the range of 90 to 99% for ECE branch. The top recruiters are Apple Google, Microsoft, Amazon, wipro, Deloitte, Tata,Vedanta etc. After completing my degree in ECE from NIT Rourkela my plan is to join the core technology sector as a VLSI and semiconductor engineer in a reputed multinational Companies, leveraging the strong foundation and industrial exposure gained during my studies in case I do not secure a campus placement I aim to pursue the off campus opportunities in electronics, IT or analytics sectors. Alternatively I am open to perceive higher studies in MBA to specialize in the management sector.

Placement Experience:

the placement is also not that much great. they are very few companies TCS and Infosys are the mass recuriter here . The core companies are close to null . So you have to go to only to the IT companies that to at a very low package . My students work for as low as 2.5 lac per annum . This year almost everybody was between 3lac to 10lac bracket . The highest on campus package are about 25 lac . Not more than that most of time. and the average package is almost about 3-4 lac per annum . The percentage of the students placed is also really bad . Most of the students have to hurdle by himself.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is descent. Some of the student opt for higher studies. Almost 80% get placed with good packages.some goes for gate exam. I also know a senior who have gate AIR of 42. I am planning for gate along with my degree.companies like Hpcl , cpcl, exon mobil usually come here for recruiting.
