Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum here at IMI Bhubaneswar is as per Industry requirements and changes every year. The classes here focuses on case study preparing us for real life world applications. The exams conducted here are Mid Term & End Term for every semester.

Class Size: 64Course Fees: INR 1600000 per year

Internships Opportunities

For Internship we had Capgemini for techie role, Dabur for Sales , Arvind Fashion for sales , Paterson Securities for Finance , Tafe for HR and many more big names. All students had got internships and some got two offers from different companies( Mostly Paid).

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for campus placements from 4th Term . The number of companies visited are ample. Every student is offered Internship opportunity and many with two internships offer with big names such as Dabur, Jio , JW Mariot, Luxiare ,Woxen , Capgemini etc. For Finals there are also big names such as PWC , Dabur , Marico , CCD and many more. There is 100% placements in college.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure here consist of Tution fee , Student welfare , library fee , Hostel & Mess fee. The fee for Hostel & Mess increases 5-10% every year. The total cost for 2 year PGDM is around 16 lakhs. The college provides Internships to all students and also final placements to every student.

Campus Life

Each club and committee has its own flagship event like Phronesis , Jazba (Sports) , Mock Stock , Clueminati ,Sparxxx and many other things . For Industry relevancy the MANCON and Egade events are also being conducted.

Hostel Facilities

The Hostel facility here is Double occupancy for all students. There are two different blocks for boys and girls and each floor is under CCTV Survelliance. There is Breakfast, Lunch , Evening Snack and Dinner. The Mess Committee looks so strictly here.

Hostel Fee: INR 72000 per year

Admission

To be eligible one is required 50% throughout 10th & 12th and 60% in graduation. The application form is available on college website. Also to eligible for scholarship students need to fulfill requisite criteria. The admission process in college is smooth.

Interview Experience

There was direct PI and no GD. For PI , The topic was Budget 2023 and questions from Graduation and Static GK. The preparation for rounds was from reffering to graduation books and the GK was prepared from Internet.

As it is under biju pattanak university of technology, rourkela affiliated soo the course curriculum is from bput syllabus and this is the syllabus where is cover total the real word application. And course caruculm is very real to university.because of pratical and other course is based on real worlds this is good to choose.i will suggest the theory class and pratical class should be more improved.as this is a good and reputation college in Bhubaneswar soo the smarts board and 3d or 2d animation should be used in engineering department course.good time for study and research soo i will say this is moderate difficulty level

I appeared for MAT (90 percentile) and CAT (80 percentile). I preferred this college as I heard a lot about this college from the alumni and checked the ratings too. The course structure is different than other colleges so I found it interesting. The college faculty is well experienced. The course is different from other colleges.

A glimpse into MBA life

As I study PGDM in IMI Bhubaneswar, I opted here through CMAT where I had 89.85 percentile. I applied here and then got interview call. It is a profile based college so cut off is not the only thing upon which you will be evaluated. I got PI call within a week. I had my PI . Basic questions were asked. As I am a student of English literature inwas asked about that as well. Then I had WAT where I was given a topic and I had to write immediately by sharing my screen.
