I chose this couse because I was curious about planning and had an interest in Architecture. The faculty:student ratio is 1:5 in our department. Our teachers are well experienced in their field and are capable of teaching us the updated & upgraded versions of planning methods along with the traditional teachings. Our term exams are held in proper time and exams are set upto our potential to improve more.

Indian Railway, Tata Steel, Maruti Suzuki, TPCODL, Google Developers, TCS Ninja, NIC, etc provide intership oppurtunities to students. Students are given opputunities to work with experienced seniors in their field during their course of intership which becomes very beneficial for them.

After the 6th semster the students are eligible for campus placements. TCS, Infosys accenture, Tech Mahindra are the mass recruiters. Our highest package has reached around 40-45 lpa & median salary is 5.5 lpa, about 75% of the students get placed. I plan on going for higher studies in my field.

Tutions fees ave been constant since the lat 5-7 years and there hasn't been no such hikes which is quite affordable. The complete cost of education of 4 years is around 1 lakh approx. There is merit scholarship available for the top 10 percentile students of each branch.

Our annual cultural fest XTASY is quite famous and there are 2 technical fests i.Perception and Ziarzest. The range of library books isn't upto the mark & requires upgradation. The classes are in the process of improvement. For sports and extracurricular activities, there is an event, "Engineers'Cup" which is held along with XTASY. For student activities there are number of clubs like ZIARZA, SPECTRUM, ARRPEGIO, TDA, CIVICON, etc

Candidates need to apply for admission throughthe Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) counseling after the JEE exam. For B.Tech courses, JEE Main scores are considered, while GATE scores are valid for M.Tech courses. Eligibility Criteria: 10+2 with 45% aggregate Accepting Exams: JEE Main, OJEE After the entrance exams, candidates are required to paricipate in the OJEE counselling process for seat allocation. Shortlisted candidates must provide the necessary documents for verification during the counselling process. Once the seat in allotted, candidates need to pay the admission fees which is around Rs.24,000 to confirm their admission. The application process for admission to OUTR is online. Finally, candidates must repot to the institues on the specified date to complete the admission process and begin their academic journey at OUTR.
