Likes

Friendly environment of the college along with the faculties
The fest is very enjoyable and lots of fun
Canteen food is very tasty and affordable

Dislikes

The infrastructure is bit old and requires reconstruction
The academics can be better planned for modern education
Poor maintainance of library and lack of important books

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I was interested in urban planning . The student faculty ratio is 1:5. the faculties are well qualified with some having PG degrees and PHD degrees as well.the teaching method is satisfactory with some improvement required.The end semester are held 6 months apart

Internships Opportunities

Many companies in private sector and public sector provide internships .some give stipend while some do not.Government companies do not provide stipend but provide certificates while some private companies give some amount of stipend around 10000.Tata steel,TPCODL, BDA,Indian railways etc provide internships

Placement Experience

Students are eligible for campus placement after the 6th semester. TCS and tech Mahindra along with Accenture and cognizant are the mass recruiters.the highest package of 2022 was 40LPA around and average package was 5.5 lpa.about 70-80% of students are placed.My plan is to get placed or do PG

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no fee hike since last 5-7 years and the fees is affordable as compared to other colleges .The fees is 32000/year for hostelites and 21000 /year for dayscholars. the college provides merit scholarships to meritorious students as well

Campus Life

The annual fest is X-tasy which occurs in the month of March and a technical fest called perception in the month of November .There is also another fest called ziarzest .Library is below par.Classrooms are average and lacks modern facility.Engineers cup is held as intercollege sports activity.There are many clubs like cetadel, ziarza,arrpegio,TDA,

Hostel Facilities

There are 3 students per room.meal quality is average and menu has 3 days non veg items.Hostel rooms are given as per jee ranks and the hostel is affordable .hostel price is 36000/year .no i have not rented any room or PG

Admission

The eligibilty is 12th pass in science and giving jee mains or ojee entrance examination. After qualifying the entrance examination we have to apply for ojee councelling where councelling fees is 5000. The whole process takes around 1-2 months

After the 6th semster the students are eligible for campus placements. TCS, Infosys accenture, Tech Mahindra are the mass recruiters. Our highest package has reached around 40-45 lpa & median salary is 5.5 lpa, about 75% of the students get placed. I plan on going for higher studies in my field.

From the 8th semester, students sit in placements. Companies like TCS ,Bosch , Accenture , Robert Bosch, Vedana, Asian Paints are some of the major recruiter in the college. The package is never officially released by college so nothing can be said as such , but Highest ackage ranges around 15lakhs. nearly 70% of students gets placed , while other opts for higher studies or off campus placement. A Good University

First of all mainly because of the location it is situated. It is in the Captial Region. I got some seats in NIT-R but didn't go because the seats that i got is all 5 year course and i don't want to study for longer period of time. So the admission process is quite simple. I did apply for Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology, Burla and Indira Gandhi Technology, Sarang but i preferred this college just because of its location in town Bhubaneswar. I didn't get rejected basically it was a councelling process in which i got alloted a seat in this college. Admission process is simple Attempt JEE Or OJEE then as soon as you clear the Cut Off you get selected for Councelling process of Ojee through NTA then you have arrange the courses and college according to your priorities that's it.
