Galgotias university Review

My reason behind choosing this course was my intrest in computer science and technology as I want to explore this field deeply from childhood that's why I have chosen this course . The faculty : student ratio is around 210:1 .I am not sure about the ratio but maybe it would be around that . Faculties at this university are highly qualified and experienced passouts from top universities like IIT's and their teaching methods are good , it depends from teacher to teacher and also on their subjects. As we all know that college life is for exploring different fields so the exams are quite easy to pass and taking aboutthe exams , they take 2 exams every semester , a midterm exam and a endterm exam .

Yes there are many internship opportunities that this university provide us .There are both type type of internship which has been offered to me like paid or free .One of the company I remember was IBM and there are many more and even some online courses are being offered to us from IIT's . Currently I have spend 4 months in this university and I have learned python and C language basics and with my batchmates we have created some python programming based projects like AI assistant , hospital management system and many more projects going on .

Students become eligible for the campus placement from the 3rd year and there are many companies like Cognizant, Wipro , Infosys , Byjus eho visited our university and students got placed with a good package in these companies from our university. The highest package as mentioned by the university was of 1.2 cr and the average package is of 3-4 lacs . According to the university website , In 2023 more than 90 percent of the students from the CS branch got placement .My plans after completing the course and getting degree is to qualify GATE and pursue M.tech from IIT's.

The course fee is 660000 including everything and the hostel fee is 130000 for first year students and vary as the hostel seats fill.The one year fee of course is 165000/- They also offer scholarship opportunities and some previliges to reservation categories and to army people. Currently I am in first year of college so I don't have much knowledge about the job but yes we have placement cell and it offers good placement to students who are deserving .

Our annual fest is named as UNIFEST and it happens every year for freshers and there are many fests that happen regularly where you can also be a part of them . There are three academic block in our university and have libraries in them where you can find any book of your requirements. Classrooms have everything of need like chairs , speakers , mic , AC , projectors etc. There are many sports clubs at our university where regular practice happens and also there are many clubs for debate , singing , dance ,acting etc. Some of the names of the clubs are like cybercell,artististico, etc which you can join by following and applying at the instagram of galgotias university student council.

The university offers two kinds of hostel facilities :- In-campus hostels and out-camous hostels to those who got late in taking take addmissions and applying for hostels, they can take outcamous hostels .The outcampus fee is around 130000 for triple seater non ac and the in campus hostel fee is 126000 for 2 seater non ac. The hostel provides facilities like room cleaning and maintenance, laundry , 4 time meal and 24 hour wifi . For registration of hostels you can apply by going offline and booking you seat at the hostel by payment of 50% fee .If you got late then you can take out campus hostel which is also a part of galgotias. Meal quality is good and they offer special food at special occasions. I

The eligibility of this course is to just pass class 12th with 60% marks with PCM with science stream. Before getting the addmission form you have to apply for registration on the official website after then they will send you the offer letter whether you are selected or not ,the registration fee is of 1100 rs and after that you can prefer to submit course fee online or offline .
